  1. Try using the lightest bobber possible. I have a preference for slip bobbers, as they add extra weight on the end of your line for maximum casting distance, and you avoid the nunchuck tosses that can result in tangle lines. good luck
  2. Looks like he did the 100 yard dash in a 90 yard gym.
  3. Does anyone know what time the launch on Simcoe Street in Beaverton opens in the morning? Is there an attendant, or is it automated? Thanks

  9. Hey gang, I'm staying on the east side of Six Mile Lake in a few weeks, and I wanted to see if there are any boat launches on the east side of the lake (Hungry Bay Road). If not, where are the launches? I did notice a bait shop in Bala. Are there any bait shops closer to the lake? It's my first time there and any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  10. Don't ask his girlfriend any more questions.
  11. I always thought kitties and mice was an urban legend, but a buddy mine who's not an avid angler and more the tree hugger type, went up to the cottage a few years back and asked the local bait shop owner what kind of bait he should buy to catch musky....the owner took him and his buddies to the back room and presented them with a box of kittens. To make a long story short, I don't think this owner has "bait" in his back room anymore, and the kitties found a good home.
  12. Its worth the extra work to have an electric. I did make the effort to lug an electric with me to a couple of lodges that I've been to, and the result was more fish. I was able to hit the spots I wanted with ease, and sneak up on the fish. Well worth the extra effort involved.
  13. Hilarious....which reminds me, they found a new use for sheep in Greece....WOOL!

  20. Does anyone know if this club has dissolved? I haven't been able to get on their web site for a few weeks. I know, I know, there's only one website i should be going to...blah.blah.blah. Cheers!
  21. If you get the chance, grab some pizza or a calzone at Gondoliers in Clearwater.....mmmmmmm good. Post Corner Pizza used to be the spot, but their quality has gone downhill over the years. Still waiting for that fishing report. You can find the local report below: http://capmel.com/
