Welcome to the board, my fav is Lake Simcoe. It's got pretty much every species, LM Bass, SM Bass, pike, musky (limited), walleye(limited), perch, whitefish, lakers, bowfin, carp, crappie. Spinnerbaits with a trailer hook and a grub. Use a fluoro leader (20-30lb) with a uni to uni knot and a direct tie to the lure.

I also bought the cheaper unit from Walmart and hauled it on my Toyota Sienna to Florida a couple of times. Very handy and durable. I didn't want to spend big bucks for the Thule either. Good luck

It also upsets me when someone posts fishing pictures that all look identical Have you ever considered taking a knee for some of the photos. At least your shore fishing photos had some variety. Just joking bud, I'm going through withdrawal as well.
