  1. I've met a bunch of CBAF'ers on the water, and received a few invites to join a few of the clubs, however, the ones that were close to home couldn't accommodate, (BPS had a waiting list), (Simcoe got a little political). It looks like a decent club. Good luck!
  2. I also got summoned for March 8th at Newmarket. Where you at?
  3. I still love the FH series (white ones). JPD, do you have any old ones to sell?
  4. I think it was auctioned off for app. $1000

  6. Nice catch Mike, and thanks for the post. Your reports remind me that I need to get out fishin a little more. Cheers!
  7. I thought it was dock to trail, not dock to trailer?
  8. dock to trail
  9. I believe the lizard fish is also known as the mother in law fish, down in FLA.
  10. Hey gang, anyone here a certified Yamaha outboard mechanic? I may need someone to inspect a motor that I am considering. Please let me know. Thanks
  11. I visit the Tampa area every year. If you're looking for a great guide try Capt Tyson Wallerstein. I've used him several times and he's put me on some big fish, including my first tarpon. He can be reached at: http://www.coconutvillasfl.com/captain-tyson.php 727-692-5868 Tell him that Ari from Toronto sent you.
  12. Thanks for the tips, and yes, I couldn't tell if the web price included a motor or not. Dave, I thought you were a Skeeter guy. Which G3 are you using?
  13. I was looking for a review and/or opinion on the Yamaha G3 Boats. They appear to be well built and are considerably less than the some of the bigger boys ie. Lund and Princecraft. Anyone on the board have one? Thanks!
  14. Stay away from Maytag.....garbage.
  15. Thanks for the great tip Drifter, and yes I do plan on fishing some rocky areas.
  16. Thanks guys, I really appreciate the feedback.
  17. Thanks for the input, I originally had 90-115hp on the post, but I wanted to get an opinion on all HP's. I'm looking to purchase a 16-17 foot aluminum boat, and I'm confident that a 90-115HP would suffice. I'm leaning towards a Yamaha, Honda, or Merc, in that order. I just wanted to see what everyone thought.
  18. Hey gang, I wanted to see what your experiences and opinions are with 4 stroke motors. There are a couple of manufacturers that have great reputations, but I wanted see what the community has to say. I'd prefer not to hear from anyone that is sponsored, for obvious reasons. Cheers!
  19. Northamfishing spinners are my choice. Open eye with a direct tie with either braid or fluoro.
  20. Try Northamfishing.com. Franks's an OFC member and the owner and may be able to put together a custom order. good luck
  21. What did you do to remove the pike?
  22. Congrats. Not the easiest of slams.

  24. Nice photos, not the typical stuff that you would normally see on CNN. I'm actually a sales guy in the IT world, and I just recently took some customers out for a musky charter. Let me know if you want to mix some business with fishing. Cheers!
