  3. Hmmm Honestly that looks VERY much like the Cheap Lucky Strikes I buy for cam on the cardboard board... they are fantastic and have become the camp standard!! The classigMontreal River Orange!!

  8. Mayflies are out and its raining, so no fish pics but I am I'm spending Fathers day with my favorite daughter. LOL... brought up some old fishing magazines from the late 1940's and Jaden apparently takes issue with this one. Monique found this lamp at the local flea market... we knew we had a place for it at camp!! And yesterday evening we had the most incredible rainbow... its so quiet here.... but that will change when Monique, Avery and Nicole join us today!! Then it wont be quiet anymore!!
  9. OH it was worth it..... trust me... lol..
  10. Thanks everyone! we put up the cabin a couple of years ago after the snow did a number on my tents. The crown is the official liquor of Jiggy lol... We do some improvements every year, new propane stove last year.. gonna bring a better bed for the guestroom this year. getting big stuff up here and into camp is tough.. but a little easier this year with the clear cuts the are doing south of me. Also I did manage to outfish Monique yesterday 8-0 !!! and ohhhh did she hear about it!!!
  11. Finally managed to made it in to camp.. an hour of cutting deadfall on the trail but camp was in one piece when we arrived.. except for that sat dish and a chewed propane hose... ... boo hoo. But it sure is nice to be home. As always the weather heres changes so fast. One thing that hasnt changed is Moniques ability to outfish me.. sigh.. Dock in, boats in water filled, woods ready from the fall... and saunas stoked.. Waters high and fast still so fishing tough but we managed a few.. just nice to be on the water again. Blackflies are horrific.. lol.. took a ride on the bike today.. didnt dare stop. Moniques reactions just get worse every year.. YIKES!! LOL.. funny few days.. weather cant make up it mind.. But I can.. time for a drink and some porch time!!!
  12. Try a williams wobbler with 12 inches of line behind it, and a white grub on a singkle hook. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/QPTCfpfMBhU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  13. Im getting hungry - our favourite here is goose jerky, salt and maple syrup for a sweet meat!!
  14. Welcome Back and good luck!
  15. Black Fireline . 8lb test on pretty much everything i use lol.
  16. I cant recommend the Honda 1000 or 2000 enough.. If your just camping and ya wann acharge batteries and some lights at night the 1000 is small, light and perfect. If you wanna run anything bigger... toaster tv fridge ice machine etc get the 2000. I used the 1000 on all our flyin trips and the 2000 at camp.. It runs EVERYTHING... wood splitter, toaster, vacuuum, water pump for tank, ice machine, TV/sat. all lights, small fridge... and Coffee machine... (not all at once obviously) I run mine pretty much 24/7 when were at camp.. I cannot say enough about them - both units.
  17. If your financing it they will likely want all in...
  18. Awesome shots!!! What a view!
