  4. CAMERON, Kevin - In loving memory of Kevin Cameron who passed away at the Maison Vale Hospice, Sudbury on Saturday, April 4, 2015 after a three year battle with brain cancer at the age of 63. Kevin was a Lake Nipissing tourist camp operator and is survived by his wife, Leslie, son Zachary, daughter Merideth and sister Judi. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews as well as friends and co-workers. He was predeceased by his parents, Wally and Hazel Cameron and sister, Cheryl Baker. Carrying on the tradition started by his grandmother, Lillian Batsford, followed by his parents, Kevin and Leslie operated Lakair Lodge on the West Arm of Lake Nipissing for 25 years. Born in Sturgeon Falls, ON, Kevin studied music at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and later graduated from Cambrian College, Sudbury as a Geological Technologist. Kevin worked in the field of geophysics in Oman, Finland, Jamaica, the U.S. and across Canada. He was locally recognized for his work in promoting the Lake Nipissing area through his affiliations with the Lake Nipissing Walleye Restocking Program, Lake Nipissing Stewardship Council and Friends of Mashkinonje Provincial Park. An ardent musician, Kevin was a member of the Sudbury Hilltop Seniors Dance Band and the Monetville Music Club playing the trumpet. Being an avid jazz fan took him to band camp in New Orleans, a city he dearly loved. Kevin's family would like to sincerely thank the staff of Maison Vale Hospice for making Kevin's last weeks a comfort to him and for the gift of quality time that touched us all. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Maison Vale Hospice ( www.maisonsudburyhospice.org/en/how-donate ) and the Friends of Mashkinonje ( www.mashkinonje.com/member.html ). A celebration of life service will take place at a later date.

  11. Hmmmmmm ... Guess I'm gonna have to install; adblocker... uhhg.. lol.. heres a question if you change to the earthbound theme does it do the same thing??
  12. I had someone complain about that as well a few days ago.. same screen shot from an non member trying to lurk,... its seems that if your not logged in and running ad blocker its not letting you view a page. Its definitely an adblocker issue as the Google ads are not showing up where they would normally be. Personally I think that if the ads are what keeps the site going you should turn your ad blocker off.. imho. lol Its quite possible there may be nothing we can do about it.

  21. 7/16 is the universal size for spigots and tubes as well. buy a good one. ya cheap bugger lol tap in 1 1/2" and make sure its secure - but the leakage happens, sometimes if you drive it in too deep as well, a small crack under it will facilitate leakage.. (crap.. thats sounded like expert advice lol)
