  1. Great ... Now everyone will want one. I'm gonna be putting some of them to the test here in a few weeks.
  2. Sorry to hear of your loss. Sounds like this person let's behind a legacy for all of us to follow.
  3. I just added the page to my favorites. Quick click and I'm voting. 2 more today, but we have a lot of room to make up here folks.
  4. The dream trip of any fisherman. Great report.
  5. Yup - Keep on voting often ... we're falling behind a bit here.
  6. Great report Scuro2. Got any more pics from over there you'd like to share ?
  7. I'm with you ... Miami all the way.
  8. I heard from Rainbow Camp, where I'll be in September. At that time, they were down about 3 feet. Rainbow Camp is on the North Channel - just on the other side of Wolseley Bay. I'm scheduled to be at Wolseley Lodge on Sept. 4 Launching may be interesting there.
  9. Here in PA, I've heard of guys getting nailed for sharing a single stringer. Each one, individually, was under their own limit. But combined on a single stringer, they assume this belongs to a single fisherman, and put him over the limit. When using a stringer, I believe, each fisherman must have their own.
  10. Good Job Terry. Ya tell a great story. Hope ya get to do it again soon.
  11. Great report Dan. Hearing a lot of reports like this, with the bite off and all that. But, it seems there was so more more to this trip than catching fish. Glad ya had such a great time - and a memorable one at that. Thanks for sharing.
  12. Hope your next adventure ain't too far off - really enjoy sharing your adventures guys. Something many of us can only dream of.
  13. Looks like those of us from the states can vote on this too. Count me in. Edit: Still going strong. Good luck Mackenzie
  14. Very Nice. Where abouts in Perth were you fishing ? I've stayed at Maple Crest Motel and Cabins in Rideau Ferry quite a few times - and this may be about 7 miles from Perth along route 1 (I believe). Lots of great bass fishing in the Rideau.
  15. Great report guys. From the looks of it though, it doesn't seem all too disappointing that the fish weren't cooperating. A lot of fun with good friends.
  16. I've seen folks fish for Walleye's right next to the bridge - on both sides. Heading west, around the channel that leads into Warren bay. So, it seems ya have a few choices in easy reach with a kayak. Best of Luck and I fully agree, Kevin and Leslie are first class people. Edit: I don't fish for Walleye, sorry I can't help ya out more than that.
  17. If Cabin 9 is in the little bay right next to the lodge, there is docking there. We had a few boats in there this past June. Like Brian said, follow the north shoreline and you'll find some nice weed beds to keep you occupied. The water level is down about 2-3 feet, as of June, so the weed beds didn't seem as far a long as in past years - but that could have changed since then. Across the river from Lakair Lodge Marina, there's a nice wide area of reeds that may be work checking out. I heard of a 40+ inch musky caught - not too far from camp up the West Arm. Best of luck and let's see some pics when you get back.
  18. Thanks Dan. A little more detail than the French River map as this interactive ones has some of the rocks marked. Some I recognize as I zomed into the Wolseley Bay area.
  19. I primarily use it to check out 'potential' spots and overall layout of the river, bays, and such. Beyond that, I really don't use it much. I'm sure I paid over 10.00, but I don't recall now. The one I have in the house here doesn't have a price written on it.
  20. Best of Luck Dunner. Looking forward to see how you did. I'm heading back up to that general area in just over a month.
  21. That appears to be the same map that I had purchased from the French River Trading post. At least - based on the pic I saw on the website.
  22. That's fantastic Marty. Way to keep Dawson excited about fishing.
  23. Funny you mention this. My own Grandfather got pulled over in Florida a number of years ago for the very same thing. Driving too slow and tying up traffic.
  24. Unfortunately, she opened it before bringing it back: My 'missed' fishing partner: After a long day on the water. Kia and Emma:
