  1. Sure is great news and a strong show of your character. Stand tall my friend ... stand tall.
  2. I hope all the members and guests take time to read that article. We heard about tragedies like this south of the border as well. Great job in posting this.
  3. Hmmmmm. I wonder, with all this advertising, if the mods will start charging an annual fee. HA HA HA
  4. Whether hardwater or soft .... If you brought it with you ... take it back home and dispose of it properly. Nothin worse than having a beautiful spot marred by someone who just doesn't care. I'm sure those folks let their trash lying around their own front yards as well. Good reminder to us all.
  5. Makes perfect sense to me.
  6. Pretty Cool .... I'm sure the wife would let me do that too. (HA HA)
  7. Great Job guys .... great job ! Sounds like a theme song for a winter fishing show.
  8. Someone needs to get out fishing a little more ... could be a long winter
  9. I had also found a VHS called "Rowan Aktinson Live". He does a couple of his usual routines - then a some stand-ups that you would not want your kids listening to. Laughing all the way.
  10. I thought that was just a 'light dusting' you got there SlowPoke - at least looking at the cool pics in your other post. Sheeeez, I'd hate to see what you would call a real snowfall. I ain't looking forward to seeing anything like that. I could like with Rick's 16 C through the winter ... then warm up for spring. Stay warm buddy.
  11. And a very Merry Chrtistmas to all .... and to all Good fishin'
  12. Mr. Bean is my hero. I had purchased the complete box set and watch it from time to time. The guy has to a be genious to be that stupid and not even look like he is 'acting'. I did see there were some cartoon versions ... saw some at one of the camps were were at a couple years ago. They need to make a BEAN 2
  13. Been swimmin' for many many years. Learned at the local YMCA and later on in me youth, our neighbors had a nice in-ground pool, which saw a lot of activity in the summer months. Don't do some much any more ... I prefer to stay in the boat
  14. My wife caught the largest bass this year My largest pike of the year. Got skunked on skis. Not all that impressive, but we have a great time on the water - regardless of the catch
  15. Those truly are some classics. Yeah don't hear those kind of responses any more.
  16. I doubt you're the only one "Addicted to Fishin" around here. You shall fit in just fine. Welcome aboard.
  17. Just too much fishing .... or noboby is catching anything. Probably the latter.
  18. Right from the signature line. I'm about 100 miles east of Pittsburgh, PA. Towing a boat and the route I take, I can get to the border at Buffalo New York in about 5 hours ... give or take.
  19. Very Very cool. I could certainly envision waking up every morning to a view like that. I sense some envy setting in. Great looking place you got there.
  20. Yes ... WOW !! What a dream trip and must have been a whale of a time. Great to see a nice report such as this.
  21. Now that's a classic. Good one !
  22. First thing I thought when I saw that first picture was ... "Oh no !! She went in the drink". Hard to put a good girl down.
  23. I picked up Dick Person's "Muskies on the Shield" as I fish those waters. There highlighting and stuff underlined on just about every page. Got the DVD to go with it. Very informative and I try to pick out specifics as I watch the DVD over and over. Seems I notice something a little different each time. I also keep the back issues of Musky Hunter and EA magazines for reference and refreshing.
  24. After 50 bass .... I'd call it a day too. Great report.
  25. Wouldn't you just love to see the expression on priest's face after hearing that response.
