  1. AVG is the best thing Ive used and Ive had zero problems since I started. Its free and it dosnt slow everything up like Norton.
  2. Dave, your lucky im not comming....Ive had some good times at that place, from what I can remember. You guys should get the 5-0 man to hook you up with cool rides home in the police car. Maybe take a quick jog to the dollhouse aswell.
  3. I wouldnt consider them a joke. They have the best deals around and lots of stuff isnt regular CT junk. Also, if you see an item on the floor and your a good guy with a manager......they can usually knock anything down to last sale price and/or best sale price. I have a friend thats worked their for years and years.......you wouldnt believe some of the stuff they just throw out. Example, last year, Jiffy power auger with a dent in the gas tank....chuck it in the garbage. big wrench sets and socket sets....oh no, one set has two of the same size, in the dumpster. Ofcourse you need a tip on when to go dumpster diving, you need an inside source like Wayne and I LOL http://www.canadiantire.ca/browse/product_...408474396672296 http://www.canadiantire.ca/browse/product_...408474396672334 http://www.canadiantire.ca/browse/product_...408474396672313
  4. Im gonna phone TSN and request Fish TV more often... Frig, I love that show.
  5. Our family has been on Georgian Bay for many many years. This isnt the first time the water level has been down and its definatly not the worst. Theres a spray painted island in our bay, not to many years with water levels this low but there has been 2 years that its been a lot worse........they wernt in the last 50 years.
  6. Just took our cat to get declawed as its destroying our furniture. Hes a good cat, just loves to scratch and play (typical kitten) Dropped him off at 8am this morning and was to pick him up anytime after 3. I show up and this woman takes me in a room and says their has been some complications. Apparently our cat is allergic to the anesthetic, his heart stopped at the end of the surgery and they had to revive him. Well he's now temporarily blind, they arent sure if he has any long term damage. He is responsive when they touch the inside of his eye, he was up walking around but Iam extremely concerned. Andrea had just put her cat down after 7 years when she moved out here, the poor thing had a tumor in her stomach. This is turning into a disaster, the cat was extremely sick when we purchased him....infact he almost died the first week we had him...we thought we were in the clear and now this happens! Has anyone heard of this happening before? His names Tucker.
  7. Gerrit, Im a tooth roller too!!!! If its from LV, its probably the biggest rip-off going. I think they have tools to de-claw your cat, they cater to the DIY, lazy, and brainless!
  8. LOL This puts a big smile on my face...think I may phone home to rub it in. Its been oddly warm here for three weeks now (3-8 degrees). Ive been getting my spinnerbaits ready for ice-out on Great Slave
  9. Nothing, theres no beer on it. lol Congrats Chris, thats a long time at anything!
  10. I second that, thats extremely dumb. You could easily snap a leg on that thing when you come off your machine. Been there, done that, dont plan on doing it again. I wonder if I could jump it?
  11. Ive heard a few of his suggestions and know first hand that they dont jive. Many other contractors will tell you the same.

I dont watch it until it comes out on DVD. If you watch them all within 3 or 4 days, you catch a lot more of whats going on. IMO its the best TV show ever written, hands down....the story lines/line are just insane.
  13. If you listen close enough you can hear the duck quacking underwater. Cool footage for sure. http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=Jp9BSW38bXg&...feature=related
  14. Stop paying taxes. Wouldnt that just be a wonderful fairly tale. I suppose the goverment can just print more money to pay cops, firefighters, and medics.
  15. A quick check on the forums search would result in this..... http://www.ofncommunity.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=15997
  16. Great catch and super report. Congrats on the 14. Theres a couple reasons on this thread why people dont post reports anymore. If you guys feel the need to destroy a report like that, a PM would be smarter.
  17. Grande Prairie isnt much to look at but a little over an hours drive puts you into the Northern Rockies near Grande Cache. To the north I have Great Slave Lake which is a 6-7 hour drive....Dont forget the thousands of back lakes that see no more then a few fisherman a year. Jasper is a few hours away.........amazing Kokanee Salmon, Rainbow fishing on the head waters of the Fraiser River. The Yukon is do-able. Grande Cache is known for its spectacular Bull Trout fishing, the view from the rivers look like theyre taken from a magazine. Was a no brainer for me!
  18. Waterwolf, if the dam wasnt there........thered be no lake. It was built because that river has a massive flood plain. If you look back over the years, its not always this dry...5 years ago that dam came 1/4 inch from flooding over. There are no lakes even close to the size within about an hour and a half. If you count Conestoga, its dam controlled aswell.
  19. I can go through the paper here on Fridays and count 15-20 pages of job wanted ads. 90% having to do with the gas/oil out here. Take it from someone who was living in Southern Ontario just 6 months ago.....its not a mistake to come out here. Ignore the comments about the costs of living, right now its cheaper living here then anywhere in the GTA. If you want to give me a call, shoot me a pm and I will put you in contact with some rig operations. Most of the gas guys work normal days, its the riggers/drillers that work in camps (usually 1 week on/1 week off or 2 week on /2 week off). Trinidad was looking for roughnecks starting at 29 bucks an hour for the first 8 hours a day plus time and a half for OT (usually 11/12 hour days).......not to mention the 200 bucks living allowance PER DAY. You work that out for 15 days and let me know if its worth comming out LOL. Im not even involved with the gas/oil aspect and Im making 4 times more then in Ontario for less work. Stay away from the booze and drugs, they are killers out here.
  20. It is indeed closed to icefishing. Good luck catching a Trout in Belwood lake. I can almost promise you they are non-existant. Below the dam there are tons. They have started catching pickeral in there the past few years though.
  21. Your all going down. Good luck, yall will need it.
  22. Did you make out a list or are you going into autodraft? To me, auto drafting takes the fun out of it.
  23. If you have that money to spend, why even look at Domestics? Fullsizes are almost all hard on gas, ride like crap, have major issues with drivelines. Look at the new Duramax GM, the past couple weeks with that cold weather has put 90% of them here at the dealerships for new trannies. IMHO, if I had the money Id be looking at nothing but Toyota tacomas or Nissan trucks (minus the Titan, it still has some issues) The only exception would be 95-99 GM fullsized 5.7 trucks\suv (96 for Suburbans)....I see them everyday with 400 000 plus km.
  24. The draft is tommorrow......holy crap better take the rest of the day off Did you leave the sign up open so that it will fill up??
