  1. Welcome aboard. I like my peace with the splash of a spinnerbait.
  2. Out there....karma is a bear. In Toronto....karma is a louisville slugger.
  3. What were they biting on?
  4. Thanks for an amazing read. Sounds like an awsome trip. I too had my encounters with curious camp bears and a believer/practioner of karma. Thanks again, reefrunner
  5. Beauty fish. Job well done Rich!
  6. What an adventure. Wow. Thanks for sharing your experience with us all!
  7. Nice mixed bag you got there. thanks for sharing. reefrunner
  8. My fav's are the Westerly Kawartha's, but I would love to spend some more time on the Moon and French River Basin's. It's a valid question, but can be interpreted in different fashion. This is a fishing forum and not a ballroom dance floor, be prepared to get ribbed once in a while. It's all good. Welcome to the sport, best of luck. reefrunner
  9. I would give it 6.5lbs but no more than 7.
  10. Welcome aboard! Can't help you with that particularn lake, however. Best of luck in 2008. reefrunner
  11. Thanks for a good read and awsome report. Sux about the rod though. reefrunner
  12. Awsome report. Very healthy looking fish you got there. reefrunner
  13. OOD, just to flip through and notice a number of ofners in there. I think this month's issue has (man can't remeber his name) an article about Kesagami he's releasing a big pike.
  14. hmmmnnn.....a stringer of prunes about 10inches afixed with two massive trebles. New bait for 2008?
  15. Sunken islands and saddles that are littered with sparse cabbage growth and adjacent to deeper water. ...but reading Lew's comments, I've gotsto try me some night fishing in the shallows. reefrunner
  16. Garry2rs makes a couple great points. I, as many others here, like perch but would also suggest looking at a hothead colour. reefrunner
  17. I fish the North-Westerly Kawarthas regularily. Only went once this year so far, with no eyes to show for it. Was dropping GULP leaches in pockets and edges, to be outdone by OOS largies. Trollng jointed rapalas above the weeds, to be outdone by Crappy. The water is still cold and levels are down about 6 to 10 inches. Nice report. reefrunner
  18. Sorry can't help you with the area. Most of my big pike came from targetting other game. Try walleye or lake trout fishing and you'll get into some big pike..lol. Point being, from my persoanl experience only however, I find most bigguns stay down there and need some loud, wobbly inticement. Deep diving raps, like the new xrap shad, should be a good choice. Good looking fish, thanks for sharing. reefrunner
  19. Great post. Dem der smiles are priceless. reefrunner
  20. Yer right pale face. I've been told about getting a ribbing for the plastic on the cork handle. Reason I left it on was this will be my only fishing trip until my exam in mid-June Didn't want to get it wet until the plastic comes off for some musky!!! Anyways glad you like the report. reefrunner
  21. Geez bucktail. Give us working guys a chance in the tourney will ya? lol. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing. reefrunner
  22. I keep my wallet and cash seperate. If, I lose my wallet..still got some cash on hand and vice versa. Doesn't answer your question, but a tip anywho. Hope you get it all back soon.
  23. At least you're getting out there bud. Rather be pulling in weeds than pushing paper, in any weather. reefrunner
  24. Nicely done. Seems like black isn't in style for night time eyes. Dang, fishmaster's gonna have to recall all those lures back.
  25. Whoa. Nice job, patience and persistence. Awsome! reefrunner
