Go easy on me, I've only been in London about 16 years.

I think you meant to type pimping? I already have a bunch of fluorescent Fedoras... just needed something casual. LOL

Never heard of Novack's until now. I doubt they or CAA will be interested in exchanging product for a sale they did not make. I'm sure I'd have better luck at a Tilley Corp. store though. I don't mind dealing with Tilley directly, they've been fast and friendly. Just a little bad luck.

Drivin long distance with trolling motor

If you're going to leave it on the boat, it might be better to let it bounce a little. In my opinion, the shock of having it tightly secured is probably more harsh on the circuitry than having the head bounce a little bit. -
I ordered a Tilley from their website, paid full price and opted for express shipping... $105.66 This is very unlike me but I couldn't find THIS hat in MY SIZE anywhere! I've tried on several other Tilley's and found the size I needed... 7 3/4 Mine comes in the mail and it's to small. Customer service was very friendly and said to ship the hat back... $11.50 New hat comes quickly and it fits great BUT a couple of defects. I called customer service and again, very pleased to accept return and send out a new one. I said that's great but I've already returned one at my expense and I don't feel that I should foot the return shipping charges for a hat with defects. She agreed and said to use the return shipping label and I will only be charged if its not to be considered a defect. (no worries there, its pretty obvious). I can't find the return label!! It seems they only include a return label on US shipments but she said that I would be reimbursed. Am I just too picky? The bucket is turned on the brim by 3/4" and there is a permanent pucker on the lid where it meets the mesh.

After a day like that I often wonder how anybody could go back to perch and walleye fishing. I guess I'd have to be a fish eater to appreciate it. Great pic's and post.

I would never recommend an oilless compressor. If you're looking for a cheap portable, I've had this one for three years and no issues. http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/6/Tools/1/CompressorsAirTools/Compressors/PRDOVR~0587949P/MotoMaster+5-Gallon+Twin-stack+Air+Compressor.jsp?locale=en It will work fine for tires, blow gun, air nailer/stapler and you might be able to run a ratchet off it but I've never tried. They often go on sale for $120

Nice haul for day! I hope Dave has a washdown hose for that mess. Dont even think about doing that in my boat lol

They're very common but the T handle might say something else... Perko, whitecap, lund etc. Do you best to free it up so your keys match. PB Blaster is my favourite penetrating oil. What style taillights do you have? I just replaced my new ones with LED. They are the 3x7" style.

Eliminate the third battery. If his starting battery is in good condition, it will perform all day without fail running lights and electronics. Ditch the perko. Connect the trolling motor to the front battery. This will uncomplicate things greatly and he'll have far fewer connections to maintain.

I had a bad experience with that guy. Never sent parts, wouldn't return my money and wouldn't respond to email or phone calls. It was only $16.00 but I spread the word any chance I get.

You make it sound like you still keep track of what day it is. 95 here yesterday; you'd probably need a sweater.

Sobering Story for all Great Lakes Anglers

I'm a big fan of happy endings. Outstanding read. I've always had a fear of waves over the transom, unfounded fears thus far but a strong consideration in my recent boat purchase. I had an 18' aluminium center console and know how busy it can get back there. I recall one day on LSC while I was at the back/side of the boat releasing a muskie; Deg holding the net and Uncle Buck leaning over snapping pic's. I had water up to my armpits and thought we're way to close to the water right now. I snapped back, "Screw the pictures, get on the other side of the boat!". Given the calm water it was an over reaction but had it been rough, I may not have had time to say it. Come to think of it, Deg and UB haven't fished with me since LOL! This is my old boat... pic's taken before the floor and gas tank relocation was done. And the new boat... a little less to be concerned about. -
What happened, the numbers are a little lower than usual? Great shot of the boys sleeping and the last shot holding the fish. Water is warmer west and 150fow is a playground but bigguns are in 240+

Had another call moments ago... In very broken english... "Hello, it's Peter from Windows help centre. I'm calling you because we have received a report that you may have a virus on your Windows computer" I said "sorry, what was your name again?" He said "I am calling from Windows..." "No, what is YOUR name" "Ummmm, Peter" "Where are you calling from, Peter" "I'm calling from Windo...." "No, what city are you calling from?" "Ummmm, I'm calling from Washington, Seattle Washington" "Peter, what is the capital city of Washington?" Silence... banter...silence "Seattle" "No Peter, it's not Seattle, it's Spokane" (I now know after looking it up that its Olympia LOL) "Oh yes, Spokane!" Silence. "Peter, I hope you can stay on the line for a few more minutes while we trace this call" Click. Dial tone.

I was going to ask you that since you're the only guy on the planet with tabs on a tinny.
-
You didn't solve the problem, you merely made an adjustment. "Case closed" simply means you may never get the hole shot, top speed and best fuel economy out of your boat. If you're okay with that, enjoy.

Yay! Maybe we can hook up again to rescue more aircraft!

Congrats Rolly, I'm glad the day has finally come for ya!

Roy took the words out of my mouth. You've put in more than enough time and that water owes you a few fish!

Zebra's may have had an impact on the crayfish as well

Well done and congrat's!

Always great to read your reports. Congrat's on the beauty 'ski!

If he owes money, he needs to pay it off before he sells. You will want a copy of the release from his lender. You may be able to make payment to his lender for the balance owing to speed things up. At least this guy is up front about it.
