I love the Caballas stores and am luck yenough to be able to stop in there as I wish with driving that way daily it just takes me a few min off my route. for all you who are wanting to make a nice round trip the new BPS should be open in Perrysburg OH in the spring they just took the plastic off it Wensday and are ripping the metal work down to start o nthe other side it looks like it will be astand alone store like Caballas so it should not suck as bad as the MI one. and the people in OH are so much more friendly. To get there from Caballas you just head south on 23 then north on I75 it will be your first exit but you will have to stop at gander mountain and Janns net craft first they are both nice smaller stores but friendly people and they know there stuff.

Mr Pete congratz on the new goal for 2008 I hope ya can keep it up. If you do by the time you get here in the fall I will treat ya to a shoping spree in windsor the store of my choice for 3 baits I dont know if ya remember how to get there if not I will lead the way.By the way you will have to be the one to remind me about this I will make good when you get here heck maybe a little tease for teh summer trip. It's funny how our Club has grown is the past 4 years with new younger members ranging from 24-32 and more in the early 40's. I agree that you need to change with the times this is why there is alot of effort put forth to the internet that is how I found them and also many other's its a great tool to use to get your word out. The days of the Boy's club are over ( I am not saying you can not have events that are not just for the guys) but you need to include the family.(even if the families dont come out it makes the world of difference that they know they are welcome) I know I would not be able to do as much as I do with our chapter if my family was not included, they are welcome to attend meetings and outtings and many of our wives run the events we put together. It's a shame when I here stories about new members of any club feel like a outcast that is just wrong if anything you need to make them feel like they are 10' tall and listen to them who knows where they come from and you might just learn something. Our club also has a Leadership program where we will take new people out with some that have been at it for a while to help them learn proper ways to handle musky and just to also make them feel welcome its nice to have a new person join ya it can make for a great day and again you might just learn something back. I guess I did not answer what you were asking we have had a drop in members showing up at times and I asked some of them it seems that work is the #1 answer Oh yeah one crazy member thinks golf is a good reason in the summer months we do have alot of young blood and its great we will keep growing and hopefully make some difference on the local front. for more info on what our chapter is about check the link. http://www.muskiescanada.ca/chapters/belle_river.htm Mike

I love ugly sticks I have 4 of them for my musky troling rods 4 UL with 4-6lbs line and a few other mid size ones for the money you can not beat them. For years I was buying $100++ Shimano rods and breaking them but since I have switched back I have not had a problem. I do haowever just buy the rod and put my own reel on them

No we are lucky here Honda shuts down for the holiday so the 2nd will be my next day to work and that is only because they pay us double time and a half same as the last day of the year its hard to pass it up. I love the fact that I can spend all the holiday with my family. Before i had kids I would work so that otehrs could have it off same as the wife we know now wh yit meant so much to the ones who got it off Kids make Christmas so special.

Yep it was a great excuse to miss the family Xmas party heck at 7am my daughter and I were off to buy a new tabogin it was going to be a santa gift but this could be all we get this year so I had to get it early well its time to head to work and clean my truck off and get it ready for 4am to battle the people in the am be safe out there blowing snow is worse then the fresh coming down.

Dang Brian dounds like you had a fun filled day. I was called a couple years ago we all sat there for a long time the judge was also sitting on the bench not looking happy as there was no defence there (ala balitmore last night) he then had another person aproch him and tell him that there as a agreement the night before or on the Friday befoer I forget which day but this made him super happy as he assured us that the person who waisted our time would make it up for all of us and there was 1 person who was a no show he also assured us that they would be sitting in the court to make up the time for each of us so as I see it if there was 100 of us for 3 hours they would get to sit there for 300 hrs it pays to show up.

I know I would not be using one of the bluegill ones I have been looking around the net and seen some others but they all seem to need a pole for running them I just thought with the ammount of people that we have here some would have done this before. The main speed would be 3.5mph but I thought I would ask if there was ones that would hold up for the higher speeds. I will try looking up Charlie White and see what I can gather from that.

Next season I want to try and run a underwater camera for musky fishing when were troling I want to be able to see what the lures are doing down there as I have some ideas I want to try and see exactly what they are doing for me can anyone point me in the right direction as to what camera I should look into and I also want to be able to record the trips. I will need one that will track right at speeds up to 4.5-5mph usually slower but it would be nice if they would stay on track at higher speeds. Also anyinfo from people who have tried this with tips on where to start for rigging the camera up..thanks Mike

I guess congratz on the new job but I hope it will not inter feer with closer this year. So how are we gonna wake up to your posts for the mornin comute with you wishin everyone a safe trip in with the bad weather when your out there in it or do you have a good clause in there for fair weather driving only.

Well I just finished watching the first two shows and I must say its the best musky show on the TV what a great program I will be ordering the set for christmas how can ya go wrong 11 episodes for $30 cant wait for it to come in.

Yep it was great to see you guys glad you could make it to the anual outting for one of crews Bday I will not say who is the old bugger or gal for this year but it seems the only way they know how to spend there Bday is on the water and that is great. Cant wait for the next one
