  1. Well we set off this morning at 5am despite the storm that was on the way. After arriving to our spot there was no one in sight, which is really rare considering the place we were fishing ( the photoshopped backgrounds must be working ). We missed a few because of slush and ice but heres the ones we managed to hook and land.. Mine Wishin I Was Wishin's bow.. Had a Nasty Lamprey Scar to it... And my first OFC tournament entry, 27" great lakes trout. The drive back was terrblie, taking almost 3 hours, atleast 4 cars in the ditch within the first 20 minutes of snow starting to fall !!

  11. Looking to buy a new spinning reel for casting lures at piers, looking for something that can hold a full spool (300 or so yards) of 10 or 12 # mono. Only thing i really care about is that it is light. Thanks for any suggestions..

  16. i dont get the point of the auto ones, if you are knocked out whats gonna keep your face out of the water? Unless it inflates around your neck?

Yeah since at port credit you have to fish off the rocks you need quite a bit of distance to get into a good zone (i think) I am going to look into one of the raven rods as i love them for float rods. I guess the choice of reel doesent matter that much.. I'll Probably spool up with 10 or 12 lb P-Line, or might even try braid Thanks for the help.
