  1. yes, in the eastern "ditches" the creeks are really small and there is almost no flow to the water so it freezes over pretty well.
  2. lol now no one says a thing
  3. Louis, i see your point with both pictures i was just wondering why you posted some pics with full backgrounds when the rules on the CRAA were so. I see your point and nice water shot, I will start taking more pictures like that, should satisfy everybody and probably better for the fish I release too.
  4. Louis im actually surprised by your response, if leaving backgrounds and showing locations is ok by you then why on the forum of your non governmental organization (CRAA) the first rule is Unless by scenery you mean a picture of a fish laying on the banks covered in mud
  5. I am all for it
  6. guess were in the same boat with the broken rod
  7. For the Purpouses of aquiring Roe
  8. Wishin I was Fishin was on A channel the other day, but i dont think he wore an OFC hat http://mfile.akamai.com/10676/wmv/ondemand...-dbldigiths.asx
  9. sucks but look on the bright side, youre probably not going to miss much
  10. kind of looked like port credit but lake O isnt salt water and that trout wasnt 4 lbs
  11. Was it not you that wrote this Anyways I dont see how you are comparing this to perch in barrie, to steelhead in the GTA, the rivers get crazy amounts of pressure from early fall to late spring, and it doesent help when snaggers are thrown into the mix. As Rick said, let the comments go... Post your reports as you please, but theres no need to comment in mine negativley
  12. Gerrit, I understand you are trying to be a "troublemaker" as you posted or just trying to stir the pot, but you just dont get it. Rivers get ALOT more pressure than lakes and posting shots with full backgrounds does not help. But instead of complaining in every thred i make how about you go to a river catch some fish and post FULL background shots as you please.
  13. Yeah it was stiff, but still managed to land the fish, i actually found it was easier to make a strong hookset, but there was hardly a fight, sorta like bass fishing..
  14. Went out "east" to fish for some steelhead withmy buddy and what a great time. First drift i hookinto a huge steelie that halfway throught the fight broke my 14 foot raven rod. I managed to land it with the broken rod but didnt get a chance to get a pic as it slipped away when i was washing it off, real shame too, was about 15 lbs. So i quickly re rigged with the little bit of rod i have left ( about 8 feet) and took another drift BAM fish on, landed this one even though my rod was stiff as a pole and 8 feet long... MY buddy that i fished with also got into quite a few fish... Lots more fish caught but the batteris on my cam ran out. Man do i wish i lived closer to the eastern rivers, its so much easier to get into fish.
  15. lol the stomach was empty to make room for all the roe nah i didnt take a look at what was inside Thanks for taking the pic man!
  16. Great intro, great to see you posting here man, Im sure you can contribute quite a bit..
  17. Nicley done, even for a bad day lol. All the fish i have been catching recently have been dark, still fight good so im not complaining
  18. Went out today, only had a couple hours to fish and I missed first light so i wasnt expecting much, hopes got even lower when i got there, lots of guys leaving saying it was slow. So i get to the river and the water looks prime. I put on a pink worm First drift FISH ON!! lost it after a few minutes but it was a nice one 10 - 12 lbs atleast. After re - tying i put on a roe bag BAM fish on, nice hen was a bleeder so i had to take her home. Water was surprisingly warm and the fight was good. Also got some roe out of her
  19. bass hardly fight, espcially when using 80 - 100 lb braided line.
  20. I use 80 lb gorrilla braid, helps me bring in the real pigs
  21. hmm im sure the corn companies would be all over you
