  1. Stewart and Carlin are great picks, I'd add Bill Hicks as well. But John Ratzenberger's gotta top the list...not even sure if he's still around??
  2. This 100%. I imagine there's only a tiny percent of lakes that even possess a LMB population in that zone, and an even smaller percentage of anglers who target them, much less only for c & r...and if there's people keeping them out of season, they likely would have done so anyway. I just wish they'd open them up yr-round in zone 11! Cold water smallies are delicious
  3. The backlashes during my first few trips with a centrepin were the stuff of nightmares... "@&$? it I'm goin' home"
  4. Nothin like a shanty to keep the feeling in yer toes...cool pics
  5. Goodbye wheel bearings, ball joints, tie rods etc lol! Pretty damn sweet regardless, though i would never run those on my truck
  6. Awesome. I'd get the 4-door diesel in a heartbeat. Who would make the smaller diesel for Ford?
  7. That looks like a ton of fun. Wish the big river had good ice up by me.
  8. My typical cut-off is about -25. Anything colder than that is just a sled ride for me
  9. Yup. I broke trail into a back lake through 3 feet of powder the other day and it worked great lol
  10. If most of your 4x4 usage is at boat ramps and you dont spend much time on rough trails, the Wrangler Duratrac/Territory might be a little too rougj and noisy for what you need. You wont get that kind of treadlife with many A/T's (definitely not the Cooper's or Motomaster's) but I would reccomend the Wild Country XTX (great deal at Caltire) or the Firestone Destination A/T's. I'm gonna put the M/T's on my truck next spring...awesome tires for a good price
  11. 50 bucks????? I've had the same 12 dollar frabil for years and years now and its caught more eyes and perch than you could shake an icicle at! That being said, if you insist on getting a blank that really feels nice and functions well the St. Croix's are certainly the nicest I've ever seen.
  12. The slush looks gross!! But nice feed!
  13. Beautiful troots bud! I have seen the rainbow!!!
  14. 25 - 29 for sure, potentially new years eve/day. No kids, and it sure is hard to turn down triple time.
  15. The one weekend I travel south to visit family I get hit with this crap! At least I have a pile of fresh powder to look forward to when I get home
  16. No idea as to operators, but the lake trout season doesnt start in zone 11 until Feb. 15th, so if you were looking for them consider waiting. Walleye can be a tough fish in the winter on temagami from what i have heard
  17. Not anymore.
  18. And if their program (as well as every other of its kind) wasn't 110% scripted they might actually be rednecks
  19. 2014 licenses are available for purchase now
  20. Yes you need a license to wet a line anytime of year and definitely consult some locals on ice conditions since there is likely a lot more unsafe ice than safe ice around there. Better yet, wait a few weeks and youll have a lot less to worry about, since if you were to buy licenses now they would only be valid until the last day of '13
  21. I have a vexilar and have to agree with you lol. Marcum is clearly the superior product these days
  22. Lowrance makes a portable 'ice pack' for the HDS units...
  23. Absolutely. That's a wet cold for ya.
  24. Extreeeeeeeeme weather!!!
