  1. I'll agree with the last pic, but I don't the issue with holding a smaller fish under the gill plate for a few seconds for a shot and then back in the water.
  2. I've been trying to find online tutorials for fly line to leader knots, but the only one I've been able to find is the nail knot. This is fine, except the only thing I can think of that would work well for it is bobber stops, which I don't currently have. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
  3. I much the prefer the south end for ice out perch. Way more jumbos down by Virginia/JP way.

  9. That sums it up perfectly. Roll some up even smaller than a dime if the water conditions are low and clear.
  10. Of course you can say bigger motors are less harmful now than smaller motors were many years ago, but increased boat size equates to bigger motors, which in turn leads to bigger vehicles typically being needed to tow the boats, which is definitely not as efficient. I find it shocking how apathetic the fishing community is towards being eco-friendly in terms of fuel consumption, yet are very concerned about habitat conservation.
  11. I've kept plenty of 1-2 lb pound smallies and always thought they tasted amazing? Did you just try eating big bass or something?

  15. Agreed. I prefer 5-7 lb pike for eating. They are very delicious fish.
  16. way to go on the cats. How long does the catfishing stay good in there? I'd like to make it out there once more.
  17. Don't you know how to swim?
  18. The float ripped under, so I can only assume he hit it. The thing even jumped!
  19. Your jigs work. But seriously, I did land this nice chromer on a jig. Thanks again for the jigs. I'll probably be making future orders.
  20. Have you been bombarded with PM's yet?
  21. Nice going.
  22. Shoulda brought the auger and hopped out onto the ice.
  23. Another stellar report. Thanks for sharing.
