I think whities do all kinds of stupid stuff when they're hooked. I've had them hooked in the side of the face after jigging them up 40ft from the bottom, lol.

That top fish is most likely frozen, it's also resting on the side of the table.. He's not holding it outright.

Bowfins, not snakeheads.... People confuse them all the time.

I've got a couple in the side of the head, you can really tell when you can't get their heads up into the hole. There is blatant snagging (guys reefing 3ft with their wooden sticks) then the fish that circle and hit and get wrapped up.. It happens..

Not very hard when you've got a big treble with a tiny perl tied on the end, let's not forget they are directly below you... What do you think will happen when you rip that thing 2ft through a school of fish? All kinds of snagging going on out there.

You could make that fish look like 30lbs if you actually used a UWA lens wide open. Nothing wrong with that pic.

.....and you end up snagging them on the side of the head. Not very uncommon out on Simcoe.. I've seen so many fish come up ass first it's not funny.

I'm sure Wayne has flown over the bay recently. That being said, I doubt there is very much ice out there. If there it, it's going to be sketchy.

Cormorants are in fact native to Ontario.

I could use some SA Sharkskin Trout taper in 6wt.

The Okuma covers are nice and big.

With the way this winter is going I wouldn't worry about that too much.

I wish there was something I needed to fix on the new boat, but the previous owner was an electrician and re-did everything already, lol. Although I do need some new Scotty baseplates for the 1106 riggers, they are way to far back. :EDIT: I do however have to mount and run wires for the Humminbird 747C I plan on putting up front. Also gotta mount the transducer to the Minn Kota!
