You can buy all kinds of accessories that fit the GoPro that are dirt cheap on Amazon. No need to buy name brand.

Find a GoPro Hero 2018 and flash the Hero5 Black firmware. 4k is now enabled along with all the other cool stuff.

Y adapter and the simple 2D transducer is what you want. Although I've got no issues reading up to about 35mph with my 180T transducer. I think it's all in the placement.
