    Maybe if you're talking about the big 2500 series trucks with the diesels, but a 1500 4x4 doesn't require any more maintenance then a 2wd model...

    Offense definitely isn't the problem, getting out of their own zone has been. So many stupid give aways and bad clearing attempts.. If they don't fix that, they aren't going anywhere.

    I run my hooks maybe an inch, inch and a half from the hook. Haven't hooked one on the outside of the mouth yet. I also don't let them swallow it.. If the float quivers or dips, I'll set the hook. If I miss them, I miss them.

    Sounds like you've pretty much figured out shore fishing for trout on Georgian Bay. It's not very complicated.

    Common sense and the regs don't always go hand in hand.. This is a perfect example.

    Some pretty simple signs to look for. Laid down dorsal fins, body structure doesn't look right... I've caught both in the 'Geen, and it's a night and day difference. Not to mention the fight, lol.
