  1. Not super duper important unless you're making long bomber casts where your distance will be affected. As for line, stick to something simple like 8-12lb Trilene and utilize the side cast. You'll get some line twist, but it's the easiest to learn..
  2. Definitely could have been the Beibs as well!
  3. The French definitely isn't a place to go for a confidence boost.
  4. I think the word you were looking for was 'tethered' instead of 'syncd'
  5. I think one of more of a 'nice to have' vs a fishing tool you've got in the graph. I'd never even think of replacing a graph with a smartphone/tablet for navigation purposes.
  6. The West is going to be tough this year, I dunno if Montreal or NY has what it takes to beat them.
  7. Sounds like your only option is to sell the house.
  8. It's almost time for the dreaded spring garage clean out. Ugh..
  9. Does it get any better then residents on dries? Great job Chris.
  10. Improved clinch works for me, but like mentioned above, no need to wrap it 6-7 times, 2-3 times should do you just fine.
  11. A boat that's designed for fishing.. Even our old 16ft Smokercraft had a split in the rear for the driver, I don't even wanna think how old that boat is.
  12. You've reached a bandwidth limit, not much you can do about it until the account gets reset next month. You could use another service like IMGUR or similar.
  13. Hey Dave, I've noticed two things with both these props. 13.25x19P even WOT won't get me near redline. From what I've been reading, if I'm WOT and trimmed out, I should be a few hundred rpm away from the redline in order to avoid 'making oil' like some of the F115s like to do. With the 13x19P, I can get it closed to redline, but there's no increase in speed for ssay the last 1500rpm.. It just makes a bit more noise and doesn't go anywhere You think a 19x20 would help me with both these problems? I'd love to find a place where I could test out a few props on the same day so I wouldn't have to guess at which one is good for our rig.
  14. Hey guys, another prop question... Right now I've got a 13x19P and a 13 1/4X19P.. I just found out the 13 1/4X19P I banged up isn't repairable.. The difference between the two is quite apparent. The hole shot with the 13x19P is fantastic but I'm losing about 5mph on the top end. The 13 1/4x19P hole shot isn't bad, but then again I'm gaining on the top end. So after the links Dave posted to the cheap 4 blade props, which one do I go for? I've heard of guys running anywhere from 17P to 19P's on similar boats to mine. I'm not always blasting the boat out of the hole like the guys in the bass boats, and a bit more top end would be nice so I could run the motor on a few less rpms and keep the same speed. Decisions decisions.
  15. They should take out Henrik to even things up. (I kid I kid)
  16. Get some braid, run a flouro leader, check often if fishing places like Simcoe.
  17. I can't help but laugh at this, glad the kid got back to shore but what was he thinking?
  18. I dunno how Montreal is going to come back from a 0-2 deficit going into NY..
  19. We destroyed then on the Sutton using topwater mouse patterns.. It's addicting to say the least. I've also caught them on Nipigon the same way.. We'll get a few on topwater patterns I'm sure.
  20. Crappies, pike, more crappies a few OOS bass, resident browns, lots of black flies. Pretty much sums up my weekend.
  21. I'm going to seriously consider this place the next time I head down to Florida.. Fantastic report. gf can sunbath all day and I'll fish!
