  1. Some of those dentless repair places can do some amazing work.
  2. brb casting goldfish (The kind from the box)
  3. Like I said, stick to the facts and ignore all the stuff that's happening OUTSIDE of his 9-5 and tell us he's done a horrible job. You seem to be taking this way too personally, and we are the ones buying into all of this? Heh.
  4. Can someone tell me a better mayor that Toronto has had in the last 20 years? Ignore all the off the clock Bull Ford has done.. Just stick to the hard facts (ie budgets, etc)
  5. Pete, I'd be interested in that Browning A5.
  6. I haven't the slightest idea.
  7. Is that a Lindy Walker up there? LOL!!!!!!
  8. Man, that's weird. Something has to be messing it up... If you hook up the power directly to 12V (Say right to the battery) does it do the same thing?
  9. Yeah, emeralds are picky but I find the biggest thing is keep it cold and make sure you're not using untreated tap water if you've gotta top up the tank. I use a wee bit of bread crumbs every few weeks for food.
  10. Glad you finally got the new rig in the water man!
  11. I kept emeralds for months in the winter in the cellar. Just make sure you treat the tap water beforehand, have an aerator and that's it.
  12. Sounds like all the Humminbirds I've had over the years. No fiddling (Like all the threads of guys trying to ice with the Elite 4's)... Plug them in and fish! OP, I hate to say it but send it back.. Are you sure you've got the power wired up properly?
  13. The next time I see the Minister of Natural Resources ganking salmon, I'm going to give him a piece of my mind! Also, you can't talk about someone having 'stones' then runnng away from the thread declaring victory, lol school yard antics.
  14. I'd be pulling that boat all over the place if it were me. Cooks is good, but there's all kinds of other places to fish that don't get the traffic Simcoe does.
  15. Lakers won't be that shallow (2ft of water), but they'll be way up high in the water column.. For lakers I'd look for spots 6-20ft, at this time of year you can sight fish them as well. If you're trolling, long leads and body baits or small spoons..
  16. I would think a lot less then 15-18ft... More like 6ft or less... Spinners tipped with worms, small body baits, shad raps, etc.
  17. I've never targeted them, but I'd be fishing them just like brook trout. Extremely shallow in the spring until the temps get up there.
  18. That boat with full windshield is going to be absolutely tiny inside. If that's the length you're looking at, either side console or tiller... Also, we fished Lake O for years in a 16ft Starcraft tiller, you just need to keep an eye on the weather... Same goes with GBay...
  19. Last nights game was on par with lawn bowling compared to previous Boston/Montreal series!
  20. A bit tame for all the hype, let's hope Game #2 is a bit nastier.
