Had this happen the very first time I launched a boat with rollers. Luckily no damage, just a bruised ego (it ended up with the transom hitting the sand in about 6 inches of water. GREASED LIGHTNING! Now the strap only comes off when the boat is in the water All those years removing the strap/safety chain with bunks, it didn't even cross my mind.

Customs doesn't care at all but the seller should give you a bill with all that broken down already. When we brought over our Lund from Michigan we had one sales receipt with the motor, trailer and boat listed separately. You need to make sure you either have the title in hand or a note from the bank stating their are no liens.. Other then that it's cake, it took us 10mins to get through customs in the Sault.

Giant waste of $$$. Can you imagine how much that would cost?

I'm looking at the Lakemaster Autochart vs Navionics+.. I'm not a huge fan of uploading data for everyone else to use, especially on lakes that don't get much pressure. With Autocharts that data is mine alone, no uploading, etc. Convert it all on my PC and even overlay Google Maps data which is really nice.
