  3. Cause I paint and used to live in the bush in Northwestern Ontario -runnin with the wolves Here's a sample Bushart
  4. You may get a curious one to come to a call now but unlikely---it would depend on the animal density in your area. If your looking for that "Lifetime" foto shot you may have to do some legwork. This time of year in Ontario --look for food sources and water if open---look for runways---in winter they still use established travel routes---if you find fresh sign (new snow tracks or pooplets)--set up downwind and think like a hunter. Tip**--if there is a lack of open farm fields in your area--deer like cedar----and southside sidehills on the coldest of winter days--trying for some sun warmth. You should also find numbers together this time of year. Happy shutterbuggin Bushart
  5. I'm not quite sure why the attack on his beliefs. I am not an english major but he is only stating his beliefs and not telling you what you should or should not believe in. You choose to not believe fine, but it appears you have taken a stand as aggressor here to tell the world your point of view. "going to get ugly"---I see no ill will in his message. In this season I'll take his message over yours---touch less confrontational. Bushart
  6. Yeah ya gotta love small town "Tattler Tribunes' I made the front page 2x for painting the local legend lake monster. Eat yer heart out Bobby Bateman (sigh) Bushart
  7. This is easy......I'm Just Better Than All You Guys!!! (Of Course LOL) There is no single item that completes this picture...to be successful you need all that has been stated but here's my hit list Drive & Desire--Instinct--Confidence---Experience and a good memory (Slowly fading)--listening and learning from those that have had success (Do not necessarily have to be dressed in Tourney Togs--Good info can come from anywhere and willingness to apply it is key)--Has to be fun or why bother?----quality equipment (Within your budget)---Then don't forget to pass on to others what you have found. Now don't get me started why I'm a better hunter....... Bushart
  8. Thanks __I'll definetely be checkin out that Rust Radio Bushart
  9. Thanks IrishField that made the coffee a little sweeter this morn---Yeah I've been a Neil fan for a few decades now---I even survived the RE-Actor and Trans days. Thanks again Bushart

  11. I'm running a Smokercraft Pro-Tiller with a Merc 50-4stroker---Bought this boat new in 96 and have caught more fish tha Jonah. It's a fishing boat---if you are looking for an "everything" boat go console. My 2cents Bushart
  12. Oh yeah---Forgot to say---Old Timer stringer---take a willow branch--couple feet long---through the gills--out the mouth---hold a few fish--may save the fishy smellin packsack Bushart
  13. Cool--Beer & Tenderloins----It don't get any better Bushart
  14. That's a decent catch for Burr Lake in winter. Maybe Pickeral Lake or Ingall Lake would put out a few bigger fish. Bushart
  15. Well I also have been in the northwest as stated before and I really don't feel like typing ALL!! the examples but suffice of to say Wolves are very partial to dog meat. Bushart
  16. Majority of Canadians Did NOT vote for Stephen (Bush) Harper...so fill your boots...This is Canada and this is our rules so we all live and die by them. Tell the 60 some odd percent of voters from the last election that they're wrong---see what they tell ya.

    3 Banger

Been at this one for a while now Unfortunately as a triptych and my limited computer skills --I had to put all 3 paintings together with Powerpoint after being photo'd and then the only way I could shrink the size for this site was to scan it and resize--little grainy but not bad--here it is. Bushart
  18. OK Reality check time I also lived many years in Northwestern Ontario and once my son and I who were bird hunting were met on the trail by a pack of timberwolves ---I too said I'll show you how to deal with this so I yelled at them----no good I fired my 12 ga. into the ground--still there We fired 3-4x over their heads to get them to go away---I am reluctant to kill a wolf when there is an excess of deer. Other times I've met wolves in the bush and they've run away. Moral here is treat every incident as you find it--there are no hard and fast rules that cover every situation. Now I was born at night but it was'nt last night---wolf 4-5 feet on all fours at the shoulders--Sorry Bushart

  23. Here's your plan......jump in your car/truck and start visiting farmers (little late in game now..but who knows?) Most farmers who have crops would thank you to clean up a few deer. Be very polite and respectful---treat the land better than if it was your own--and you may find a cache of deer hunting you did'nt know existed. Hope this helps Bushart
  24. I too suffered the crap on a $200 Loomis rod---and in conclusion they will never see my cash again. Bushart
