Had a bunch of comments on my avatar so I put together a little fall scene.
Dawg's always on my case about gloomy pics---see if this sky draws fire

Only the smart ones get this---the rest of the zombie world is way too busy complaining that their Latte' Crappucino's are too cold.
Also to get back those child like days---go fishin with a bobber------it takes on that feeling we all had waiting in anticipation for it to sink outta sight.
I've caught tons of trophy fish but I have the most fun flingin floats and watching patiently for the mostly smaller fish you'll catch.

Looks Great Leechman
Is the lip made of wood?
I'm wonder'n if the metal lip cupped on original may give the popping action--being the metal also is thinner---one way to find out
Looks great

I hear ya doc....
But just like the onset of an election...the Conservative Mothership will send out the signal to its followers to jump all over this one...good luck

Now Cobden was on the Voyageuer route around the rapids of The Ottawa river---I thought this was a better way to tie "Mussie" to Cobden rather than the Town Watertower
Cobden is also famous for being the spot where Champlains Astrolabe was found
Now I wanted something different than the 3 bump inflatible that depicts all sea (lake) creatures taken at some distance---thus I drove him up on a point for a close-up

You know Ontario has dealt with it's own lake monsters as well..
I was putting a painting together and had to research what it looked like first from archival newspaper articles---internet and even published books.
Apparently in the 70's even tv stations as far away as Los Angeles were looking into this one.
It resides in a deep long body of water in Eastern Ontario--Muskrat Lake.
Here's what I found (part of anyway)

Hey Anders--nice shots
Are you referring to the Michicopten(sp) north of Sault towards Wawa?
Man I spent some time exploring that area up that way----Definetely one of Natures masterpieces

If you can--- borrow guns and see if hunting is for you---make sure you know the gun though and all it's features prior to doing anything.
2nd if you like hunting deer and maybe moose---buy a rifle
Shotguns will limit you for some shooting at distance----if hunting is your thing you'll own lots of guns including various shotguns for different purposes.

You mentioned you lastly went to Hutches---an old time popular spot
Out in Aldershot--there is another Oldie--Esterbrooks
Best foot longs in the world---Really cool old (Original) atmosphere---wood floors--old booths---even the old water filled pop cooler (last time I was there)
old pics like Hutch's
Both these places are nice reminders when Hamilton was'nt a bad place to live.
Hang On, Hang On!!!!!
I have something of more importance than the lining marshmallow dead horse to address...
IT's...
1. Bronte Creek
2. Burlington Pier &
3. Esterbrook Hot Dogs

Thanks Man---I like this one also.
Funny thing about art---I've been at it for some years now---you can take 10 people and show them a body of work and each person will have a different fav.
I like that as it gets evident that someone sees what you were going for

I believe it's been stated on numerous occasions that the MNR reads this board.
Not sure if it was you or someone else up your way not long ago kidding how they have a camp back in the bush where the rules don't always get followed and the mnr never visits.
May be a connection or not
