Bought in 2014 and planning on getting in 2015!

Not much this year. A few lures, but no rods or reels. Plan on buying a flasher for ice fishing season this year. -
Favourite wrestler of all time-NF
LostAnotherOne replied to LostAnotherOne's topic in General Discussion
Does anyone remember the time Jake the Snake Roberts had Macho Man wrapped up in the ropes and then pulling out that king cobra and watching it bite him. I wish they can do things like that again. Can't get anymore real then that. -
I don't watch wrestling like I used to, but if I had to pick someone it would be Macho Man Randy Savage. OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH YYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAA

Maybe Bryan Murray said to himself "Man I just might have a shot at getting that McDavid kid" lol

Charges laid in Detroit River muskie incident
LostAnotherOne replied to John Bacon's topic in General Discussion
I just hope that there isn't more like him. We got lucky we caught him red handed. Like to know what he does if he catches another musky. No guarantees he wouldn't do it again. Sometimes I wish I could run this country cause there would definitely some big changes. -
Your a pretty good story teller Old Ironmaker. You should write a book. I like it

Points to ponder on invasive species
LostAnotherOne replied to John Bacon's topic in General Discussion
In Australia years back they introduced the cane toad so it can protect the farmers crops from insects. Not only did the toad do nothing, but anything that ate it (snakes, lizards, dingos) they got poisoned and died. Australia is so rich in wildlife, but one day I promise it will all be gone. -
His name was Tim Bosma Old IronMaker. He was your hard working family man and had some punk rich kid(Darren Millard) take everything away.

Ya me too. That trial should be starting next year.

Great topic Chris. Well for me I was selling my DVD collection for $1 a movie. Couldn't believe how many replies I got, so I just picked one and asked him how many he wanted. He told me he would come by and check it out. He gave me a time so I would be ready for him. When I heard someone at the door I got up from the couch and headed to the door. As I got closer I noticed this guy was big and weird looking. I mean really weird looking where I thought it was Sloth from the Goonies. Not kidding guys. Anyways I had all the movies laid out on my kitchen table so he would be in and out. When I invited him in he tried to close the door. It really freaked me out when he did that cause not only do I have one of my favorite characters of all time (Hey you guys lol) in front of me, but I'm only 5 foot 5 so if he wanted to do something I'm not sure what I can do. Lucky he was in and out and I managed to not only make about twenty bucks, but also I found out I was able to piss and crap all over my floor in record time.

I looked it up and when the Nordiques lost there franchise in 94-95 they were averaging just over 14000 a game. Something smells very fishy with some of these NHL teams.

Congrats. That seal pic was awesome.

I hear there's a large profit margin for crack -
Whats the fish you have always wanted catch?
LostAnotherOne replied to LostAnotherOne's topic in General Discussion
Well I'm trying to target that 50" musky so I'm where you were. I would also like to hold the majority of my family records, but my bro is good and he seems to have me beat by one or two inches on every species. My goal for ice fishing the year is to grab a nice size walleye from Quinte. Never fished for them so it's gonna be a challenge. -
You head to bed knowing the next morning your heading out fishing and you can't sleep. Your too excited that maybe tomorrow will be that day. It happens to me especially when fishing in waters that could produce a huge musky or pike. That fish where when you first see it and you look in amazement. When you get your hands on it you say to yourself that's a fish that needs to mounted on my wall. Maybe I fantasize to much, but that's just me lol. Anyways I haven't crossed paths with that fish yet. A few weeks ago I caught my biggest musky which was a fat 44" maybe 25lbs, but it's not that fish. I always say that she's out there, but we haven't crossed paths. So guys what's the fish you've always wanted to land and will land someday.

Very well said Old Ironmaker. I think we have all worked or known someone who wasn't able to enjoy there retirement years. I am lucky to have been introduced to fishing which brings me great enjoyment throughout the year, but can't say they same about a lot of guys I know where all they do is work, drink, play vids repeat. -
I must be doing something wrong. Never trolled out of those seven trips, and was mostly using 8 inch black and orange bucktail. Had probably 6 or 7 follows, but I don't know. Noticed tons of panfish early in the year dead on the surface so I was thinking cause of the bad winter they were still recovering.

I know you got a spot. PM me if you like

Went fishing for muskie on Upper Buckhorn seven times this year. Produce one muskie. Either theres no muskie or I suck. Not too sure, but landed three on Niagara in two trips in November.

I'm years away, but I always thought to downsize my house. Get something small and have a chunk of cash to play around with, but that idea I think may pass as I get older. -
I know I'm very new here, but I think it would be pretty cool to have a OFC sticker so I can put it on my car. It would be cool to drive along and see a fellow member cruising to his favourite fishing spot. Just an idea.

Watching Alfredson's retirement news conference right now and my biggest memory of him playing my leafs is when the sens had Heatley, Spezza, and Alfie on there first line and they would beat up the leafs by 6 or 7 goals every game.

The only person happier then myself when I bought my house was my dad. He was probably saying to himself "Out you go and don't come back". lol -
It's every fisherman's worst nightmare. They hook that big one and it takes off. You keep your eyes on the rod with amazement and then you look down and see that your line is almost all gone. You start panicking and try tightening your drag and then all of a sudden it's gone forever. Happened to me at Nipissing when I was young, but I probably had the drag set to loose. I'm sure you guys have got some stories.
