  1. Caught my first and pb rainbow this year. Solid 9 inches, but I will take it. Yours is friggen big. Nice
  2. Don't want to spend all this money and having my battery die before noon. So buying an extra battery would be wise to do. I looked at your HB 747C and I like that one too. Where can I grab one?
  3. Great info Fang. Thank you for putting in the time. I just don't want to spend the bucks and find out I should of got this or that. Battery power, built in GPS, and colour screen are now on my list with my purchase of a graph. Thanks
  4. Thanks guys for your input. All the ones you mentioned could work. Was planning on getting a flasher, but with your advice I decided to go with a graph. I really like the Marcum LX-6. Might as well go all out. Its gonna be a whine learning how to use it thou. Thanks
  5. Am I finally gonna cross paths with a 50" plus muskie Saturday. Hopefully

  6. Theres a few fishing stores that hold them, but what about grabbing one off of ebay. They will be cheaper, but do I want to take that chance?
  7. I use Berkley Trilene Cold Weather 6lb. When the weather gets super cold it doesn't matter from my experiences the guides will get frozen up no matter what. Glad I have a heater so I stick it close to the rod tip. Not too close or your gonna have to redo your setup as I usually have too lol.
  8. But with a graph can you see your bait go down on it as I think you can with a flasher
  9. I have a fish finder for the boat, but thanks anyways for the idea. Zoom is something that's on my list for the flasher.
  10. Hey guys. I'm purchasing an ice flasher pretty soon and was wondering what is the best brand to go with. I got a $600 limit. Thanks
  11. Redoing it would suck. I see that it's longer then when I first took it.
  12. Another shorthanded for Bozak. I guess Kessels back rubs are working for him.
  13. Ok I am sick and tired of these so called T.V. hockey analyst that have never played the game or at least had nothing to do with the game at the NHL level. I love watching Sportsnet Central at noon with Kipper and Mcclean and listening to what they have to say, but when they seem to take the day off and are replaced with guys who never played I shut it right off. Hockey Night in Canada is doing alright with Hurdy, Kipper, and even Oates (love seeing Oates in there and glad he didn't bombed it like Domi did). Host Stroumboulopoulos (yes I looked it up how you spell it lol) is growing on me, but I do miss Ron Maclean. Elliot and Mackenzie need to go too. Just venting guys that's all. I love my hockey
  14. Butter chicken actually sounds pretty good. There's an Indian restaurant not too far from Paris so I may give it a try. Thanks
  15. I think I need to widen my cultural food experiences. Like to try Indian food one day. I here its pretty spicy so I will probably have about 4 glasses of water around my plate.
  16. I know after my 10th trip out ice fishing I can't wait any longer until spring. Driving in the winter for 3 or 4 hours each way can be draining. Hopefully it doesn't last too long.
  17. Last few years I have focused on Cooks Bay catching one dink perch after another. No more and I'm heading up to Quinte to catch some walleye. Purchasing a flasher very soon so hopefully that will give me an advantage. A $600 one should help, but if you guys got any suggestions let me know. Where else is everyone going?
  18. Well those 3-4 waves will always hunt you. Hit a couple of those one time and thought I was a goner, but luckily managed to control the boat. Didn't have a life jacket on so it was pretty scary. Your boat is going to take a beating every year so there's not a whole lot you can do. We haven't had to replace the wood flooring yet, but the carpet a couple of times. Just use pressure treated wood and galvanized screws. You can always buy the pressure treated wood and throw a couple of coats of pressure treatment over it. Good luck
  19. The smart way is to do exactly what your doing. Don't go and spend all this money on a fancy boat when you can just fix it up the way you want like adding a deck and carpet. We got the same thing, but with a 14 foot princecraft. We added carpet and a small deck to stand on and use the trolling motor. Its not the prettiest boat out there, but it does it's job. If you troll a lot you will probably have to replace the carpet where your feet would be when steering the boat. I know we had to do that a couple of times. Like to see pictures when done bud.
  20. Lots of good advice for you here creditmaster. Best of luck to you
