WoW that's awesome Mike! Kid looks like a pro already! But..... I thought you promised you wouldn't share our secret spot! G

Used to eat Pike like that all the time as a kid... MAKE SURE YOU SCALE THE FISH FIRST or you will not enjoy it at all Butter, Salt, Pepper and garlic, Onions. Wrap in tin foil (shiney side in) and BBQ. Enjoy. G.

Too many variables to give you an answer Will.... a leak can be caused by any number of things... perhaps a better description of where you see the moisture coming in and the construction type and I would be able to provide you with a proper answer. It could be anything, from a failing sill gasket, cracked foundation, weepers... or even a problem with you're siding... Just to many variables. descriptions and photos inside and out would help. G.

Well I will be in Cuba next week for some much needed de-stressing.... I will be on an island off of Cuba known as "Caya Coco".... has anyone stayed on this island before? Any fishing opportunities that I should be filled in on? I will be at the Melia resort in Cayo Coco... in a Lagoon room... so I guess I could fish right from my porch (Room built on stilts in the middle of the lagoon).... But I assume Fishing from my balcony will suck ... Soooo.... anyone been to Cayo Coco? have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.... G.

Bush Beans are by FAR the best out there.... just hard to find here in Canada... but I grab em all the time from the US... well worth the price for the quality of the gases produced. and besides!... they are awesome!.... Although I do have to say I had some amazing beans at a G2G on Quinte..... I think Doug made them?... I haven't had a bean since that could touch the beans I had that night. Someone tell me who made them.... the last time we were all together at Merland, so I can pester them for the recipe.... tell me, who made those INCREDIBLE BEANS??? anyways for commercially produced beans.... Bush beans.... hand down. G

Well last night I hit a doe... No damage to my truck (thank god for Fords metal bumper) other them a bit of fur... nothing wrong to the truck.. it was a decent sized doe, feeding @ an apple tree that is right beside the road :wallbash: (Low ditch where the apples collect when they fall..)Hence the deer collect here... What are the rules when it comes to this? I do not have a hunting license.. but I do enjoy venison. I was unsure what to do.. and had no room in the back of my pickup, given the hard one piece tonneau cover, and it being rammed with tools. I did stop, inspected my truck, and made sure the doe was not suffering. Nor do I know how to properly dress a deer... So I was at a loss.... This morning the deer was gone... I assume someone has filled their freezer... What should I have done in this case? knowing that I love a good feed of venison... would the meat even of been any good? Thanks, G.

With a canoe, it is doable... but you are right.. off of Tyneside it is very shallow, and not worth it if you are trying to hit it from shore... G

Sorry to say... but sounds appropriate to me... all trades make $$ off their apprentices. Might have been best to get the job priced.... and not Time and Material (which this sounds like.) I would bicker about it.....to see if you can save a few bucks.. but again this seems fair to me when you use a licensed trade. G.

I had an iPhone and a BB... I prefered the iPhone, however it is in the trash.. I got sick of replacing busted/cracked screens at 60bux a pop... I went through 5 screens before I said enough is enough. they are not made for contractors. G

Looking for a bit of info fellas... I am in the country and am on a septic system (tank and bed) in recent years the area where the bed is located, the grass would normally be the greenest area in the whole yard... But something has seemed to change and this area is now full of brown dried up grass could this be caused by the water softner which hasnt been a problem before... or does it indicate some else is wrong? Thanks in advance. G.

Awesome Peter!!!! nice to see you got her slimed up!, how did the boat handle for you? any issues? nice wide and stable platform to fish from I have been waiting for this post from you! One word of advice, on those Salties, use a bit of sponge to prevent scratching the paint up... it will work wonders (just a suggestion) Did you get the sounder and GPS figured out on how to use them? I have changed cell phone providers, so if you have ANY questions at all pm me, and I will provide my new number. Nice looking FISH! G.

My understanding is the US has also been doing something similar to Canadian anglers.. and both are puffing up their proverbial chests... twit for tat situation is my understanding... this was brought up not long ago here... last week I think. You have two enforcement agencies, from two countries trying to out-do the other.... this is sadly the result.. That said, an interpretation of the law from ONE congressman, Vs. the spirit in which the law was intended can be two wildly different things. G

as far as I am concerned, this is a by-product of Americas "war" on terrorism... Canada is following America's lead on this.... slowly our freedoms are being taken away, in the name of "national security".. sadly things will only get worse, as the US puts more and more pressure on Canada to tighten our borders and become paranoid puppets as the US people have become. No slight to our American friends... this is just one Canucks opinion. G
