How long, ugly and pathetic do the threads get about river etiquette, marshmallows, and what kind of salmon it is that was actually caught? Someone caught a big muskie. AWEsome! It's the perfect time to get a new one -- 2 months ago I picked up a 37" Samsung LCD for $750...paid a bit more to get the 1080P, which is better resolution. I didn't care, but the wife snapped like a twig on the upsell Important to keep about $100 aside for all the cables you will need to hook one of these bad boys up though! My attitude going in was that ANY new TV would be so much better than my old one, and I could care less about HD, but, after watching one hockey game in HD, that's it, I'm sorry to say that I'm sold on the stuff!

Anybody know of a tackle shop that carries ABU Koster spoons? I like the looks of them, but so far, can only find them in the UK. They seem like a pretty good addition to the ice-fishing tackle box, but I'm trying to avoid paying more than the lure itself in shipping costs alone. Any help is appreciated

I don't hunt, but, I didn't reply. Nobody has commented on the article out of Edmonton about dog-packs killing people. It's wierd how this pops up the day after reading in the Sun how they have a major problem with this in Baghdad, and apparently the only thing Saddam did right was killing the wild dog packs once a year. Now people are afraid to go to work over there. but I digress..... I'd a been pretty nervous as well...and wouldn't hesitate to shoot if it looked like an attack was imminent.

Great report, Mike -- what a fantastic year! I have eaten bowfin, and was AMAZED at how good it tastes! The meat is almost as firm as pork...really bizarre...but super tasty in little chunks done up in nice tempura batter Get another one next year and try it out!

Hey all -- just trying to get an idea of how much snow has fallen in Muskoka this week...I know Barrie/collingwood got pounded pretty good...just tyring to figure out how far north it went. There's a nice small shallow lake that freezes up early I want to hit near Huntsville for perch/walleye, but if the snow's been heavy, I don't think I'll make the trip. Thanks!
