Holdfast thats a great idea I was thinking of slicing up some water pipe last night for the top sections to keep the drag of metal on metal down

Rob take the time and remove @ disassembly the carb properly ,remove the float bowl and all the components and let them soak in a carb cleaner ,Omc Engine tuner works magic overnight ,if the fitting fits on the motor and ya prime the bulb and it fills the carb and theres no leaks its fine

Hey we know a great Largemouth Lake, it was always loaded and fun way back not sure if anyones fished it much since ,theres nothing else in there but Bass,also theres a ole trappers cabin we can stay in for the weekend,then a weekend in Miners

I havent permanently secured it yet gotta paint it first ,going either U bolt it or bolt thru,as far as taking it off to go riding theres 2 new bikes in the garage for that ,this is just a yard/plow now backlake bike

last season a friend pulled up to the shop with a deal he found ,he bought a Skandic 1995 if I remember correctly,503 thing was rough cosmeticly been sitting since 98 he was told ,tarp had long rotted,503 was seized couldent pull it over,he dident have or want to spend much money on it ,so pulled the plugs poured oil down the walls got the breaker bar out and turned the flywheel it broke free .cleaned the carbs drained the tank ,thing fired right up 2nd pull hes run it almost every day for the last 2 seasons since ,I belive he got lucky but hell ya Silvio id buy it if I had the chance

if I wasent a few hours away id tackle it ,as where on a lay off till ice out I have a bit of time on my hands

as a kid fishing many back lakes camping etc ,most of your know the experiance I miss it terribly ,and am not ready to start hauling gear on my back like the good ole days to get into these same lakes ,Yesterday I got busy and built a boat carrier and outboard rack on the old yard/plow bike,its gonna be nice to hit them largemouth lakes again

now ive always been a BIG GM truck fan,but kicking back tonight watchin tv I had the pleasure of viewing one of there new commercials ,hmmm they wanna sell me a 45K truck for half,incl 2 yrs Onstar,2yrs Sat radio ,extend the warranty to 4 yrs ,and there BROKE,got me thinking what the hell could they have offered me when they where rolling in money,oh yeah the offered me a 52K truck for the sticker price included nothing not even a free oil change and a 1150 month lease payment ,I hope Bankruptcy is in your near future

Lost my Buddy 2 summers back Bernie ,took a lil piece of me with her,I got another new buddy a few weeks later couldent do without the companion ,sorry about your loss
