Lunker coat the board with Epoxy like West Marines or a good couple coats of spar varnish and it will last a long time

plug the exhaust holes ,its not a 2.4 L bridgeport making 280hp @ 9000 RPM why they tried to make it have offshore exhaust makes me lol,see if ya can tap the holes and put some brass plugs in it ,if she pops up in reverse find the parts there probably reasonably from a outboard graveyard or hold it down with your other hand,how often are you in reverse ???,build up your transom to fit the 20 inch longshaft,the exhaust housing transfer , possibly different gearcase ,driveshaft lenghts ,labour involved is more than the engines worth ,id live with it or sell it and buy something more suitably to fit your craft

check the fuse first ,check to see if ya got power at the pump,may also be a piece of crud stuck in the pump

its not a Piano spray a coat of paint and get fishing

ive got the Tekota and Calcutta,my dad uses the C4 Its broke twice already it not a yr old ,the Shimanos never let me down once ,the Penn 310 series would make a better real for skis IMO if ya dont wanna drop the cash on the higher end stuff

Lew are ya gonna have a hard time scuffing that NEW hull to make it stick ,if ya leave it out in the sun for 20 minutes like they state its very easy to work with

Lew I ordered a Keel guard and some other Keel products direct from Keel Shield last winter ,it was all here in 3 days ,they make a nice stainless Bow protector as well that contours to your hull and rests where the hull meets the trailer roller so you dont get the black smudges on the hull from rubbing,the Keel guard is a bit tricky to install follow the Dvds instuctions to a T and you should have no problems

theres at least 2 I can think of on the bay here that pick the front right out of the water almost looks like they plane off and they GO prob mid 30s pull skiers and kids on the tubes all summer

seen all sorts of Pontoons up here on the bay ,worked for a few contractors over the yrs that there Barge is a set of toons with a deck on it ,lots of interesting setups out there,I like that enclosed idea with the hole in the floor be nice for late fall walleye jigging

whatever turns your crank really ,if your happy with a canoe so be it ,if ya wanna fish with a 9.9 or 20 hp and it puts a smile on your face awesome ,Me personaly when conditions allow I like to move,Merc has been making engines with well over 300hp for yrs just cause it dont say it on the decal dont mean squat with that company,OMC built 300 V8 outboards back in the 80s 90s ,Yamaha makes a 350 Fourstroke,I dont think where gonna see much bigger hp outboards as the bass type boat market cant handle much more than whats being bolted on currently,the boss has twin 200 Etecs HO on the 26 ft workboat fun to ride yeah but damm im paid by the hour
