  1. Sirius with the portable boombox is what I use now,Ive also got a sweet Clarion Marine Cd deck with a set of 7 inch Alpines that I love and am keeping for the next boat

  9. I had 4 lights on my T Top of my first Center Console Lew 2 facing forward 2 rearward ,it helped alot ,if I would have kept it I was gonna put on of them revolving remote spotlights on it
  10. its in decent shape for the yr should clean up well,when the engines come in like that I take the air hose and blast all that crap off,nice it has CD ign and not points condesor crap,id be willing to bet with a few hours of your time TLC that will be a fine lil engine,the props fine remove it and check for fishing line @ yes those are the fill/vent screws on the gearcase get new washer seals for them as well ,set of plugs, a once over on the carb and a fresh tank of 50/1 and your fishing
  11. those metal mod/ser # tags there rivited on so they dont fall off ,even the newer sticker types are Stuck on there,im not sayin its Stolen,but it will look that way to most,its an older motor so theres no gonna be alot of fuss,I think boatmans on the money yr wise id use his wisdom on the older engines to get whay parts ya need
  12. well heres my take on it again lol,your either gonna come away smiling or crying ,could be a great package or could be a headache,I would offer him 1200 only if he throws in the bungee cord that holds the cab down ,it was an option that yr hahah,but thats my offer 600 for the boat 600 for the trailer that merc in its state aint worth much in my book

I would buy it but not for 1500,it looks like a Goudrey/ Goudro ??? forget how they spell there name built boat,they have the nicest design, id take a close look at the bottom bow area where the paints all flaked for starters,if thats good and the motor starts and idles fine on its own id make him an offer,either way post back and let us know your decision

  16. with all the snow this winter a ton of rain forcasted ,when can one expect the levels to rise ,the mouth of Georgian Bay here is open ,theres shell ice in patchs in places nothing extreme thou,the major inlets and outlets are open and the snows gone,this afternoon I noticed it looks to be theres another 6-8 ft beach shoreline exposed since last falls high water

  18. a set of aluminum transom shims might help,they will help negative/positive trim dont matter all depends on which way you install them ,I put a set on a Boston Whaler Dauntless last season and they heped alot,and not noticeable like that big ugly whale tail ewwwwww

Bernie thats awesome thanks for sharing,you guys saved my butt on a Saturday afternoon many moons ago ,My 440 snowcrosser was falling flat on its face @ 6000 rpm,your guys figured it out and even had the box in stock for a sled you where sponsering that season,ill never forget that it was much appreciated,as far as loosing guys it sucks esp life long buds,I get a new helper every season it seems one/two seasons of working hauling on Gbay and there looking for something softer hahahlife goes on
  20. I was gonna hit it up Bernie im already down here,but im coming back next weekend for the bike show so 2 weekends out in the big smoke is one to many for me
  21. where it sits, an inch above is about the norm for optimal performance everyday use,to low you can get alot of steering deflection and unwanted spray,I dunno how big your boat is or what kinda power but a set of Lenco trim tabs made all the differance on my CC
  22. the trucks up north get used as trucks,the southern trucks are by far a much safer bet
  23. sad indeed ,but whats sadder is if he does get caught ,a slap on the wrist maybe a lil probation,probably wont have to pay back a cent lots of incentive not to do it again right ,thats how the bleeding hearts we have running the country looking out for us ,god bless when the going does get tough for many
  24. yeah I told myself that as well ,being in construction its not always easy,there are many great catch all matts out there van and truck world has them as well
  25. got my Extang cver from Van and Truck world was 550 IIRC ,but I got a lil wee box
