  1. while ford has more than enough electrical issues with REm (rear light modules) and similar devices, i would check rear socket for corrosion and bulb condition the contacts on the 3157 bulbs due fail frequently before giving yourself a brain cramp over it. Simple stuff first
  2. like I said, aftermarket rims , fast wheel, macpek american racing couple others as well that are big in quebec for the snow tires and rims start researching, or just buy some new rims
  3. decent trucks, good engine and great on fuel better than all other v-8's and most V6's if your towing much more than a 18ft bass fibreglass bass boat you'll notice it back there though its rated to tow around 6700lbs. the wheels look to be american racing or fast wheels, take off a rim and see if there is some kind of stamping on it. As for the leveling kits or torsion bar keys I'll keep it simple either spend the money on a proper lift kit that comes with everything you need at around $2400 or don't bother, The factory alignment adjustment cannot compensate for the additional height the keys produce and you end up driving around with -1.50 -1.75 degree of negative camber kills handling and ride as well as eats the inside of the tires
  4. could also go play with all the rods at gagnons to get a feel for you like, my best feeling rod to me is st.croix in legend tournment with a core mvf i can pitch this rod all day comfy and light, for tubes and jigs its an avid in 6'8" med extra fast with a core 50 again light as air and comfy all cork handles, Best part of a custom rod is build it to what you like and I am sure reams of good advice here
  5. nice fish how much ice you on out there?
  6. suzuki has had a good reputation for building engines for years, arctic cat snowmobiles, suke bikes and cars all reliable engines. the older johnson branded 4 strokes were suzuki powerheads and have never heard a bad thing about them
  7. micro guides are nice if using braid exclusively tend to wrap less, but thinks it a matter of personal pref
  8. I prefer cork handles 7' and up for heavy cover, my flippin sticks have fast action heavy rating both 7'6 froggin rods fast med-hev 7'2
  9. some liners can't bored, there nicesil plated, ask your polaris dealer
  10. adding more oil just leans it out more, checking and cleaning of the carb should be a first priority, got pics ? imo most of theseissues are related to crap fuel don't take much water to blow a fan engine when it's being worked hard. advice, try www.ontarioconditions.com post some pics and your problem or pm wildbill on that site
  11. kawartha bait and tackle has minnows, shiners, golden shiners, panfish size more than you would expect. there in lindsay though don't know if it's out of your way. 705-878-3474

  13. The new irish tow bar 79.99 but wait order now,,,,,,,,, looks great wayne unfortunate for me can't make much out of old brake rotors and worn ball joints lol. made a nifty tool for driving ice spikes in for my portable hut using a drill just to find out i could have bought one for 20 bux (welded, ground and modifyied a $30 socket)
  14. ht makes a couple angled reels that work great, also I usually see that people try using to big of a reel on a ice fishing rod that will also cause issues. all my reels i cleaned the grease out of them and oiled everything no more cold stiffness
  15. lol great shot, you could take me there but by the time the gravol wore off it would be time to leave

  19. try a local carquest they do paint mixing, warden automotive in scarbourough used to do paint not sure anymore. aluminum has to be treated before paint, i believe it's called vinal wash don't remember
  20. if you can mount a shock in the surge area, and just remember with a surge couple idea and no brakes the hut will bump you a bit esp when stopping and on bumps and on a sled that'll come right up the bars
  21. that happens on many big lakes welcome to the country. as for booze your ice hut (registered ) is considered part of your property so can't imagine they can lay a charge for booze in the hut cause my toilet is back at the house. I have no issues with dragging a pile of beer out to my hut but also always walking from my house to my fishing spots on the lake and brininging my emptys back . Have had neighbours move from the big smoke and somehow they always expect it quiet, but but between boats, pwcs chainsaws atv sleds hunting ect country life is anything but
