  1. michelin x-ice tires have a mileage warranty of 60k last time i checked which is good,I don't miss those snow day drives into the gta
  2. thanks learn something everyday, I'll try and take some pics i think it's in pretty decent shape other than a bit of tarnished brass on the buttplate
  3. how do you figure? just today had 3 vehicles with safety related defects ( everyone on of them had outer tie rod(s) with extreme play) there is no requirement to get these vehicles looked after and they really shouldn't be on the road, but customers choice to continue to drive like that is fine and dandy till car loses steering and themselves or someone else gets hurt
  4. i ve caught more muskies in the fall pulling worm harness at 1 mph than every muskie bait i own at any other speed, but usually fishing for eyes
  5. looks real nice, now if i wanna restore my le 303 i sending it to you
  6. I agree as well I do see some junkers coming through the shop not just tires but everything, tie rods about to fail ect, vehicles in this province should have a yearly inspection done
  7. this should be good as the us government just approved the use of e-15 in 2001 automobiles. I don't like it but it keeps me busy fixing older boats sleds and cars
  8. little sensitive time of the month maybe don't understand
  9. it can be tough rich 3 to 5 day can be tough after that the craving if any get less. after your success here when you going to try to quit stirring the pot
  10. danc is correct on that with tire wear on snows, there is a secondary wear bar on most snow tires that is between 4/32 to 5/32 above the first one when this bar is exposed the tire is considered a all-season so really only half the tread depth is snow-rated. also people in quebec can't drive really if you look on a map montreal is pretty much on the same latitude as north bay snow tire rule does make some sense in that regard they have consistent snowfall all winter, southern ontario just use up your 3-4 sick days and stay home
  11. it look like the elite is really just a gen1 hds minus a couple features, if that will do the job go for it
  12. 7 years january for me, if your serious , dealing with cravings is all part of it they will pass, i used the gum at it's worst and it worked to a degree cold water helps keeping yourself occupied is best
  13. bustin powder on bonanza lake sucks when this happens at 115mph break time shot of the backyard wife on the vector the venture in gooderham come on snow
  14. who's sleds ready to go? mines all washed greased oil changed no the nail biting waiting for the snow, lets see what everyone driving since limey there has me all fired up mt apex from last winter good for another year
  15. i have used them and there chinese made counterpart evercast the edge is a nice reel worked out well put an hour in with one that had been through 6 tournamnets was still smooth and the drag tracking technology is great, i just feel like a traitor leaving my chronarcs and cores but I'll be picking up 4 or 5 over the winter to give a test
  16. I am blaming this melt down on you! that ride will do you good just read the manual on all the adjustments esp on the skid to get the most out of it (and when you get use to it ulmer racing makes a nice little low pressure turbo kit for it that'll get you to 200hp)
  17. http://pure-gas.org/index.jsp?stateprov=ON little more
  18. http://retail.petro-canada.ca/en/fuelsavings/143.aspx little info
  19. actually from the laws as i read them that total gasoline sales must contain 5% ethanol in ontario at least, so it;s usually the 87 grade that has the most corn gas in it to meet the 5% quota while higher grades can caontain less or none
  20. maybe there ready for ethanol but the issue is when it sits, still seeing carbs with seized needle seats ect due to ethanol, fuel injection doesn't seem as affected though(guessing more stainless steel components), but i am still fixing a ton of boats and sleds with ethanol related issues, or anything that tends to sit for long periods of time, problem1 is corn alcohol is a solvent and will eat away at rubber, brass and other fuel components over time seen many a leaking omc carb bowl due to it then it absorbs water gets even more acidic and causes corrosion
  21. go check out doo-talk must be hundreds of post's on it
