  7. Squid, good for you keep it up. When i quit smoking i went from 212 lbs to 274 lbs and it was a battle with all the food that is available. currently at 224 and it wasn't easy getting there
  8. 4 stroke for durability
  9. I think the terrible thing with this is there are many people behind the scene on both sides spreading misinformation and creating turmoil for there own financial gain as it's proven there is no economic benifit to peace
  10. breaker's are ok, and i have the thermostat set to 8 degrees c the probe is stuffed into the garden, it has been a llittle better since building a raised flower bed ont he front of the house, it now freezes at -20 instead of -15 just can't seem to figure out how it frezzes with an active heat line. Maybe try some spray foam around the line. as for a recirc pump not sure how it would work foe me, it's freezing on the suction side of the pump I think i would have to do some digging on the outside to get to it
  11. yup -28 this morning water was frozen again this has been an ongoing issue for me since 2003, just spent 2300 on new heat line to the lake and it still continues to freeze at -20 at the point it enters the house, can't figure out how to resolve this, you would think with a heat line running through it there shouldn't be a problem any ideas anyone? starting to like the sounds of city water this country stuff is wearing thin
  12. they had logs out again tuesday with both sluices running full bore down the river
  13. yup when i found this board, it was linked off of the what's biten board back in the day, i remeber this cause i just got my updated my 14.4k modem to a 56 on my 486dx2 IBM
  14. The only dock I could see it going to if it wasn't in moorings , is the rock crib one way in the bay there, that must of been a ride! Cliff you know where i am if you need a hand, or i can sit there and offer moral support. with this cold weather this week i could take the seirra out by friday and pull it in let me know
  15. http://www.mercurymarine.com/propellers/prop-selector/# i prefer stainless steel, better performance on my 150 motor, it all comes down to you can get a stainless prop tailered to your excact needs. i currently use a 4 bladed piranna prop that helps with hole shot and cornering duty it's a 24 pitch with some cupping on the blades and it allows me to run 60 mph @ 5100rpm i ould pick up some top end just swirching to a 3 bladed fury and maybe dropping to a 23 pitch as i can run the engine at 5800 with out issues
  16. only thing better is being in the boat. never know maybe a can get a internet stik for my hds and be on OFC on the water
  17. really what i want to know with the native issue is are you canadian or not first nations or not a part of canada or not, then after we can set that straight, lets solve the rest of this and get back to important stuff like fishing and hunting instead of being divided
  18. Can't help but wonder how long the nets have been there and all of a sudden the fishery is suffering, If the lake cannot handle the harvest on it as it was for years then looking at other enviromental issues is a must, I am going to say that with all communities around this amazing lake growing we have a pollution issue like silting in of gravel beds, zebra/quagga mussels and water clarity change predator/prey relation ships do to water clarity, unstabe water levels these are the biggest challenges facing kawartha lakes as well
  19. well i thought i had died and gone to heaven when the 28 pack of beer was introduced that makes up for being short two weinnys
