Used to run a 90 gallon with a beauty of a New Guinea Tiger. It was one helluva fish! Might I add two 75's, and one wicked planted 15.
-
Sometimes they hit cars and get startled. Pretty bird
-
...add an eye and three trebles and troll it!

Damn, I'm sorry if I have a twisted humour and the fact that its late and my brain was left at the bar, but that is some funny right there
-
Eh, they are introduced fish that are invading... I should of clarified
-
Is that a spring run fish? I don't know much about color change in the fish and how fast it happens but those black specs on top of the fish are used for camoflauge in the river. Experts chime in please?
-
Steelhead are invaders and so are asian big head... we love one but hate the other!
-
Damn, if i ever catch one I'm gonna club it over the head and have myself a $1,500 dollar fish dinner! All jokes aside, if we are seeing returning adults who have been stocked as yearlings coming back than its a good sign... this sorta stuff just doesn't happen over night, takes years to establish, stocked or not... if a steel lays 3,500 - 12,000 eggs per spawn... and the survival rate of returning adult fish to redds is very, very, low... We're talking .1%... That salmon has to compete vs. other salminoids. I think it would be very difficult to have a successful bring back of the Atalantic... its gotta compete against 4 other river spawning fish!
-
Thats a lot of money for a yearling to swim down stream, hit the lake and then get attacked by something... how come it costs $1,500 per fish? I'm no fish rearing expert, certainly not Atlantics ( haha ), but that does sound like a big number for per fish.

Our steel doesn't migrate into the oceans from what I have gathered, other systems' rainbows do. Speaking of steel... 6 more hours

You mean that sundog was for real? I told everyone the "stuff" was really, REALLY good.

Damn, the foxes in my neigbourhood play within 25 meters from us, we leave the lights on when we're smoking cigarettes outside my friends car and they yelp and have battle matches. I live in Scarborough. -
If we haven't been believing, well onw would be the time to start... Do you believe?

Those are dope! You've got a wicked talent.

I have no experience building but I have seen them built by others. You need snow deep enough to saw chunks out off, seem like a lot of work to me.

Everheard of a wheelie on a unicycle? Ya, Chuck Norris did that too!

No no, not aggressive. Very well bahaved. Depends on what the dimensions of the 20 gallon are. What you are looking for in a setup is floor space... Each of my snakes is housed in a 24" x 24" x 12" space. Other people keep their snakes in 33" x 16" x 6" rubbermaid tubs all their life and the snakes thrive. So depends on what size your 20 gallon is it just might do, I think a 20 gallon long is bare minimum. A quick kijiji.com search and I'm sure you could find a larger setup for cheap.

Thats a funny one! This one is not fishing related or anything, but my favourite is... Chuck Norris lost his virginity before his dad did.

Nice dumeril Skud! Those are one of my favourites, wicked cool pattern! Nice boa hanging there too Post up a picture of the marine tank? Frozen, thats quite the list you got there, some real nice animals you named off. Pure, as for owning a pet snake there really isn't much you need. The snake itself will cost 50 dollars ( during season ) and enclosure and accesories another 100 - 200, and thats going luxury too. You can set something up for a mere 30 dollars if you wanted to ( but your snake would live in a rubbermaid, wouldn't be very "showy" ). As for weekly costs, you feed the snake once a week which costs a maximum of 3 dollars for a rat when its older and when its young it'll be 1.50 a week. They are cool and all but don't expect much action, these are ambush predators and sleep during the day... hehe Balls ( short for ball python ) are very docile and stay small. The two snakes Skud has are also great beginner snakes except they get a bit bigger, balls stay around 4 feet while Skud's 6 - 8 and get a bitmore "gerthy" meaning they eat larger things too Apart from that you have to maintain a proper humidity level, depending on where you are really, which takes a few seconds out of your day to spray down with a squirt bottle and thats that! Corn snakes are something else to look into, they have cool different patterns and mutations are much cheaper. They get the length of a ball however they don'tget as thick. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions, I am more than willing to steer you in the right direction. There is a reptile expo happening this Sunday if anyone is interested ( NOT SPAMMING! ) in Brampton where you can go and see a tonne of vendors and animals. They have lizards, snakes, turtles, amphibians, tarantula's, educational stuff, etc. for 7 bucks for the day. JPD thanks for sayin' I've got nice balls, I take great pride in them. Reminds me of that AC/DC song... As for critter pictures, post 'em if you got 'em!
