  1. Strange they didn't do a bass boat? Would have bet money that is what they had planned.
  2. Im glad they are out. Moosebunk is right on having full coverage. Wether you like the Sens or Pens you have to admit that this series is going to be FUN to watch!! Skills!! As opposed to leafs getting bludgeoned by the Sabres!
  3. The Penguins vs Senators is going to be a GREAT first round matchup, not a SEns or Pitts fan but that is going to be the series I watch...Lots of offensive talent in that one. Heatly,Spezza,Crosby,Malkin etc...... AWESOME!! If the Leafs make it they will get smoked by Buffalo..... Hell they got smoked by Buffalo when Buffalo basically played the Rochester Americans due to injuries earlier in the year.
  4. I just hope St Pierre doesn't hurt this guy too bad. So thats were Brock went, I know he tried out for the vikings after he left WWE
  5. A couple more inches to greet me this morning in Burlington. Thios weekend last year I was off the niagara catching chinook's, lakers and coho's. Still 2-3 weeks away with this forecast.
  6. Biggest eye I ever saw was in the Moira on an inside corner as it turns east going thru town. I have caught maybe 200 eyes over 10 pounds out of quinte and this thing would have dwarved them.It was sitting in a pod of 8-9 pounders and was more then twice there size. I honestly think it beat the 20 lb mark. Have never see one close to that size since. I think the spawn will be at least a week late this year, probably 2 weeks late as there is no significant warm up in sight yet. That all said there should be lots of males still hanging around the river mouths for opening day.
  7. Finally bit the bullet and bought a couple Lucky Craft cranks. Has anyone had any expierince with them?
  8. I have seen posts of the guys ice locked in areas of the islands for pike that were free this time last year. I am thinking 2 weeks later then last year. 3-4 week of april
  9. He bit my worm!!! Welcome bach BBR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. I have a few trips planned Biscotain and Nipigon but closer to home I want to concentrate on Lake Erie smallmouth and walleye. Maybe enter a couple tourneys if I have the time. Last year was my trophy year , this year is learning new techniques and places.
  11. GB. Any chance you can post that 36 pounder?
  12. Has anyone heard of a 42# pike that was caught in North America a few weeks ago. Not that monster from Spain that was on the board ( awesome) Trying to find out more. Dieing to find out where it was supposedly taken.
  13. I find PP easier to work with. Fireline I like for heavy weeds were i need to cut thru them. The problem with Fireline is that it needs to be worked in and made more subtle. It is very stiff and wiry when you first put it on. I started using Fireline Chrystal but havent had it long enough to comment. Maybe after pike openor i will have a little better idea. On my musky rods I have Berkely Whiplash which I find very comparable to PP.
  14. Terry is dead on the money. When guys are catching lots of bass in early to mid may its there prespawn feeding binge. Just wished the fed like that later!!!
  15. Happy BD big guy! Drop me a line...its almost time!!! ;-)
  16. Apparently they start by standing on the roof of the truck and work there way down..... NO THANKS!!!!!!
  17. Perch Rapala Husky Glass Jerk. Same lure 1 month apart = more then 50 lbs of northern pike !! Black musky bucktail
  18. Sirius all the way...you won't be able to listen to normal radio again. My wife wants one now!
  19. That was a beautiful collapse!!!!! Thank god I have aDVR , I watched that 3rd period 3 times and I am still laughing!!!!
  20. Global warming is irrelevant in the fact that all programs that would reduce geenhouse gas emmisions benefit humanity by reducing air and water pollution. Something that with 6.5 billion humans cannot be argued against.
  21. Daiwa Tierra! I feel like a princess already!!!!
  22. I used to float tube in the spring off the Burlington/Hamilton shore in April for browns. Best was a 13 pounder that dragged me around for 20 minutes. Need good neoprenes to stay warm.
