  1. Heading to Geo bay on Thursday and Saturday, lookin for some big pike.
  2. brifishrgy is probably right, its that time of the year for emerald shiners in the great lakes.

  4. You cant count that fish for the OFC tourney!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Funny old techniques and lures can come back into favour especially in pressured waters. Guides like to cast and retrieve spoons on Lake Fork for largemouths now. The last 2 winners on the B.A.S.S. circuit were using old style Carolina rigs. Whats iold is new again eventually....kinda like fashion! My brother used to troll a Diamond Jim...I think by Luhr Jenson...not sure...he caught some big fish on that ugly bait!
  6. Greater or lesser scaup. I always get them mixed up, we just call them bluebills back home. Great pictures!!
  7. I cheer for the bulls every time. My old man got into a scrap in Spain along time ago when he and some Airforce buddies were rooting for the bull. Go underdog!!
  8. And thats why I bought this. Not 1 complaint.
  9. I have owned all 3 brands at one point or another ( Evinrude, Merc and Yamaha ) and have to say that my lst 2 Yamahas are simply bulletproof. May not be the fastest but they will never leave you out there on the water and have never had one breakdown yet!!
  10. Geo bay has some fish big enough to put a bend in those rods, try honey or Pointe au Baril......ice is still in as of this morning tho.
  11. 2.5 weesk till you can try7 it out on some pike.....if you don't have to drill a hole!
  12. I would have a signature but I always spell my name wrong!
  13. Hey Bob How many weeks is it behind this year? Keep watching for reports but it still hasnt woken up Darren
  14. Great stuff, thought it would be too high and cold still!
  15. Oughta go!!! I am dying to get out but the east winds are killing it down here on the west end. Were you by the Bath plant or off of the Sandbanks. Good seeing you post again! Darren
  16. Whata great country when you see that wildlife in the city. Now if Toronto commits to a waterfront like Chicago it will truly be one of the gretest cities in the world!
  17. Australian beer sucks anyways....no lose!
  18. try up stream near Foxboro , there is an old launch below the bridge on the highway. Go up to the Frink center or go downstream but watch for rocks. Slop bass and muskies on the edge,,.... fun fishing

  21. We could always think of getting an OFC measurement decal. I have one on the inside of my rod locker door. I hope thats ok, I bring the fish in lay it on the measuring tape and submit it.
  22. It is the first saturday (3rd) the exclusion is for the 2 rods. only 1 rod allowed in those areas. D
  23. Check out the INSANE weigh in weights at the BASS tourney on Falcon Lake, Texas! Maybe this should be a vacation spot while the lake is still peaking. Pretty insane when the pro's are complaining of pulled muscles!! http://proxy.espn.go.com/outdoors/bassmast...ournamentId=832
