  1. I'll bet that took some serious practice, nicely done.
  2. Hahahaha, Camera, sitting about 15 feet up in an apple tree, the big bugger was weaving and wobbling on a skinny branch, that's what caught my eye.
  3. Thanks Brian and Rodbender, Part of the daily job, drive by photo shooting. Canon 510SX, 30xZoom, point and shoot auto setting. I'm definitely not a photo expert by any stretch, just having some fun and pass on nature for all to see. Kids got me the camera last year. I missed one about the size of a big chicken a couple weeks ago.
  4. Nobodies trying to bust his jewels at all, just a quick dose of reality. If you check 99.9% of Smitty Sleds, you'll find that they all have a healthy amount of clearance to avoid plowing in the snow, that's what we want to help him with.
  5. Ya, like why do people put the skis on their feet instead of sitting on them? To paraphrase Chris, to get the bulk out of the snow. I would say to keep your b...from getting dragged through the snow. For you with your mind in the gutter, b... = butt, not b...
  6. Bang, bang, bang until the situation stops is what should have happened on that fateful day.
  7. Oh Wayne, you have such a way with words..
  8. Well, I'm on the other side of the fence. At 10, she may have a strong will however you are the parent. I don't want to sound like I'm bad mouthing your wife, however I strongly believe you have to get her on your side. Children of which your daughter still is, have a wicked capability of hedging one parent against the other and won't stop until they get the desired result. My wife didn't have a disciplinary bone in her and the boys knew that. Dad can I...No! Then it was Mom can I until I nipped that in the bud. It took a bit, but both turned out about as good as any proud parent could want. I wish you more than luck, hope you have a thick hide.
  9. Hmm, kinda funny that the paint is only lifting on the lower motor shroud. Make sure the zinc anode(s) are removed once a year too and shined up. I think even 2 cans would be more than enough.
  10. Ya that first one does look nice, too bad no pic for the tundra.
  11. I know what you mean about profiling Roy, but sometimes, stats are just too overwhelming in % of truth. If each thief had a finger cut off for each crime of theft, each thief would quit at 9, you need at least one finger to pick your own nose.
  12. Ya, just about time for a new coat, I got that one the first time a whole bunch of guys had to be rescued(not me), must be around 20 years now. Ya, cabin fever got to me, cold or not I was coming out today. I still have to see how far those radios will go.
  13. If I was a bunch younger, I'd strap some panels to the south wall. They have some great new Li Ion batteries now, fast recharge and high capacity.
  14. Well that's what happens when you have a back seat driver with you. Ya, I can just see the darts flying already. Here's a little sister to Brians from this morning. She was invited for supper.
  15. Must have been Mike Harris again. Damm cold weather to have the juice freeze up.
  16. That's sad, he was always one of my fav Star Trek actors.
  17. Ahhh there's something chasing me. nice shot.
  18. The temperature, it's just nuts this year. The furnace has no down time, even at night. Usually when it goes to the the night time temperature setting, it runs maybe 3-4 times a night, hell it's still going 3-4 times an hour. Even the 14 day long range doesn't see anything above zero. I'm betting it's going to throw a real nut into the maple syrup production. If it warms up too fast, it will be over in no time rather than a regular minus 5 at night and just above in the day lasting for a few weeks. Even the rivers that I usually see open pockets are completely frozen over this year.
  19. I didn't ever think I'd say Uncle, but this one is getting too long and too cold.
