Did a little assessment work on a small trib of the Mad. It was jam packed with juvenile chinook smolts. In August. Survival rates from spawn to September were incredible
One evening last summer while fishing for smallies last summer there was a cahill spinner fall. The smallies went nuts and I didn't have my fly rod with me. I'm going to try hitting that fall again sometime with flyrod in hand

I don't know about that lots of epic fall days(50 fish on) on the LargeSkull in the mid eighties. Don't hear about to many of those on ontario rivers anymore.
Yup we had one as a regular visitor at our campsite(#215) in Masassauga PP when my son and I camped there for two weeks when he was 11. That is when I too found out we had lizards in Ontario.
