  1. Did a little assessment work on a small trib of the Mad. It was jam packed with juvenile chinook smolts. In August. Survival rates from spawn to September were incredible
  2. Or you could go 401 to 25 north to 9 east to the 400 north and avoid Toronto all together. Assuming your crossing at Niagara.

  4. One evening last summer while fishing for smallies last summer there was a cahill spinner fall. The smallies went nuts and I didn't have my fly rod with me. I'm going to try hitting that fall again sometime with flyrod in hand
  5. Truly big pike are a thing of the north although Simcoe and GB hold some. A 36" for southern ontario is pretty darn good

  8. Ive always had lots of luck all over in there working a Pop-r or twitching a rapala.
  9. I don't know about that lots of epic fall days(50 fish on) on the LargeSkull in the mid eighties. Don't hear about to many of those on ontario rivers anymore.

  18. Um there is no walleye in Belwood so your calling your credibility into question here
  19. Yup we had one as a regular visitor at our campsite(#215) in Masassauga PP when my son and I camped there for two weeks when he was 11. That is when I too found out we had lizards in Ontario.
  20. Also Guelph Lake. Do you think the fact that neither spot allows powerboats might have something to do with that?(purely a rhetorical question)
