Is this a pay to fish stocked pond? If so anything that looks like Purina Trout Chow (now called Aquamax) will get them going.

Another great place for kids fishing is the Kings Bush ponds. Lake RD and County road 32. You'll have to get there from townline rd Cambridge as the bridge over the 401 on RD32 is closed. Little Lake is right there but is way overfished. The ponds in the Agreement forest are excellent for kids fishing

So nice to get away with your family and not many better spots to do it than Temagami.

You can head over to Snyders Flats in Bloomingdale. Three ponds with lots of panfish to keep the little one busy.

Awesome photos. Could you give us a lowdown on the technique used for the brookies was it vertical jigging or wolf river rigs or some other technique? Were you fishing steep breaks or flats?

Not me I'm a regular chatty Cathy. Fishing is about being social for me . Years spent steelheading cheek to cheek have made it so crowds don't bother me and I have a lot of confidance in my abilities as a fisherman so I don't mind fishing the same place as others cuz I'll catch more than them anyway. That being said I'd rather fish somewhere were people never go. Because I love me some unedumacated fish

I'm on the road daily for my job in the KW area. This time of the year I live on fresh produce from our Ontario farmers. Buying it from stands at the end of their driveways often on the honour system.

We took the coarse in one evening at a Muskies Canada meeting Just answer everything with a no for alcohol and your golden.

Really more of a pond than a lake. Yet every evening as I drive by it for work one or three boats and two or three carloads of people fishing it. I don't know how the poor fish can take all the pressure and its year round as well. I don't fish it personally for just that reason. Urban fisheries really need to have special regs placed on them.

wolf river rig is the only thing thats going to help you in August. Floating minnow bait behind it.I prefer Yo-Zuri minnows
