  4. Hey Steve is their a discount for doing the ripout yourself? You can ask them to indicate what has to be removed for them to do the rehab and possible save enough to get a few more fishing goodies for the planned amount. Art
  5. I feel for your loss I have had people in my life taken from me by cancer. Be strong and be well Art
  6. You know that is genius to think of that Roy. A free charger and your alarm system battery tested frequently. Art
  7. Brian go to this site and download ccleaner it will clear out any thing stuck in the memory. It will speed up your computer also without any danger to any programs. You also might reload your browser it may be corrupted. Go to delete programs and check to see if it has a repair option first. I use both Firefox and Chrome to get into the internet with no issues. The Firefox uses a lot more memory than the Chrome and Chrome has a better plug-in setup than others. Art
  8. IT looks like the Government is adding 12% and it is locked into being used for education only. Check into bonds and other investment vehicles before committing to this. The advantage is if your son decides he wants to be a tradesman and open a business you can use the money to help him become an owner with the funds. It also can be used for an emergency or some other life altering event. I don't know the rules of the government plan and they may have these provisions built in. Look at all of the options is all I am suggesting. Art
  9. It was just a quick rant :D I'm better now. Art
  10. I just don't understand why people don't post their fishing reports anymore???? :wallbash: If you see a nice fish say "nice fish" if you don't agree on the size do what you normally do in a face to face situation say " nice fish". Why we all have to hack and cut at people who stretch the size or weight on a fish on the internet has cost us to miss out on a lot of wonderful trips thru someone else's eyes. The time and effort to post a report is rewarded with this crap is why you see so few of the fishing adventures I have down here. Art
  11. My question is since everyone only eats their one or twice a year how do they stay in business??? Me thinks we have some closet eaters here...(yes I eat fried chicken but it is from Popeyes.) Art
  12. Sorry Paul it doesn't work that way lol. You have to have it transferred from owner to owner thru a licensed dealer. If a gun turns up as being used in a crime or in someones possession without the paperwork correct you are in deep doo doo. Art
  13. Sorry I was not trying to high jack the thread. Bob you need a drivers license and a bill with an address to buy a pistol after an instant background check. I am not a supporter of O. C. It leads to trouble in most cases. I got my CCP due to the local differences in the laws. The NRA sponsored CCP program give you lots of O. C. Info just so you know your rights and understand what your CCP covers. I think everyone needs to have their firearms in a safe and legal way when ever it is in your charge. The point I was attempting to add is Texas is not the only stAte that the great wild west is still alive. Art
  14. I am quoting the NRA Open Carry is legal states wide. Jurisdictions can modify the rule to more ridgid standards. All of the cautions are to check LOCAL laws before OC. Art
  15. The only reason the fish looks big is because you chopped off the guys legs and painted the hut grey. :wallbash: (nice fish) Art
  16. In the USA which way(S) can your average citizen carry a weapon without applying for a permit? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . All of them are legal however you can expect to be questioned by law enforcement when seen " Open Carrying" of a legal firearm. Art
  17. You can ask someone who visits to get a few bottles of hand sanitizer to keep in your room. It should help keeping the bugs down. Keep the faith and get well soon. Art
  18. Good choice final input get the matt not the paint it will flake off and clog the drain. Art
  19. I hear yaa I will do other peoples bathrooms for money but I payed someone to do mine. I Know ME without pressure I will find anything ELSE to distract me from finishing the project. Art
  20. I have 2 10ft pieces of PVC hug from the garage ceiling that the rods sit on. So far it has served me well for rod/reel combo storage. The extra rods and reels are in cardboard boxes and the tackle boxes are stacked on the shelves. Art
  21. It's that dang fishin habit that got you so far behind. Art
  22. Hand operated get my vote also I have had all three kinds and I still think it is the easiest one to use while spot fishing or moving on a weedbed. Art
  23. Refinished bathtubs are nothing more than an epoxy paint sprayed on a cleaned surface. They will show any damage in the old paint thru the new paint. They will be a spot that is not cleaned well enough and the paint will bubble or peel. They will come out and fix it for free but you will have a repair that looks like a repair and the tub paint will be at a different height than the surrounding area and show a line every time the water dries. I have seen a lot of these repairs when they call me to replace the tub after they spent the money. Option two is a plastic cover they put over the tub and form up walls to make a pretty seamless finish. The dirty secret is the way the drain line is attached it can allow water to get trapped in between the tub liner and the old tub. You will find few plumbers who will repair this issue and none of them will offer a warranty. To remove a tub you can cut out the old tub but to install a new unit you need to strip out 3 to 5 courses of tile so you can place the tub in one corner raising the other end up high enough to get it in place then set it down flush. You then install the drain line and then the durarock and tile are installed. Don't forget to replace the faucet if it is worn or older than 10 years a good tile job should last another 10 or 15 years and to replace the faucet sooner than that makes tile work needed again. Art
  24. Here is the unit I added to my power steering unit I use the foot controller for speed and on and off and just kick the extention back and forth. top notch troll It is not for everyone but it makes it alot easier to use than the ones with the low hand controller. If anyone is interested in it it does take an adapter and you need to remove the power head to do it correctly I will be happy to tell you how to and send you an adapter.
