  1. ……. and when you are with that guide, make sure you bring a portable GPS and track all your movements. Will prove invaluable the following days. If you want to go back and revisit spots, you will need it. Trust me. You can get lost lickity-split.
  2. Back in early July of 2017, I was looking for some jig heads and plastic jigs to use while on summer vacation. I connected with Bigugli and bought some fantastic jigs he pours and paints. I then connected with GBW who hooked me up with a half dozen packages of plastic jigs (Widow Makers) of various colours . In August I managed to get away for a few days of fishing with Buckster on the northern end of Pigeon Lake. Our goal was to try our luck with some walleye . We got to a spot that looked promising and be began to gear up . I had on a Bigugli chartreuse special jig head and a craw-dad coloured Widow Maker twister tail . We fished for five minutes when I feel a dead weight on the end of my line . I says to Buckster..... "Musky...I hope the line holds!!" Well after a ten minute fight we see the fish under the surface and to our amazing delight a HUGE walleye!! We get the old girl into the boat, take a few pictures and measurements and set her free to delight someone else in the future . As we did not have a scale, we plugged the dimensions into an on-line calculator and found she was just over 11 pounds!! Now I know there are alot bigger walleye than 11 pounds but for the Kkawarthas, I think it was a pig. Since the first day of fishing Pigeon. ( 20 years ago) I had always said that any Walleye over 10 pounds was going to get immortalized by replica and mounted on the cottage wall. Well, last Sunday I turned the big 50 and to my surprise my wonderful wife had secretly had a replica made and gifted it to me . I was speechless! These replicas truly are works of art and I'm gonna enjoy many days admiring it and recounting the story of that August day . A BIG shout-out to Bigugli, GBW, Buckster and of course my fabulous wife . Life truly is wonderful! Now after 20 years of fishing Pigeon, I am still hunting for a six pound bass and a 30 pound Musky!!! Here is a picture of my mounter! Cheers, Meely
  3. Im sure when everyone gets their instructions on Jan 8 there will be some sort of disclaimer stating you forgive any wrong doings on their part and that you wont take part in any future class actions that may be filed. Pretty cheap way (for them) to cover their "assets". Meely

  5. Try Best Choice Containers....... They are Kleinburg. South east corner of 50 and Albion- Vaughan Road. I see a sign on their fence stating they sell used containers. Not sure of their pricing. Meely
  6. Thanks for all the info so far. As I mentioned , the trailer has a brand new LED wiring kit installed and everything works fine when attached to my buddys newer F150. I only encounter issues when attached to my van so I am going to assume the issue has to do with the current tow wiring set up???
  7. Hello gang! Hoping I could get some help with the wiring/lights on a small boat trailer. I was given a small boat trailer that I plan to use to haul a small 12 ft aluminum. The trailer was totally rewired with new LED lights. Hooked the trailer to a newer vehicle and all lighting worked. Hooked the trailer to my vehicle 2003 chevy venture .....( i know... a relic but it still runs fine). When hooked to my van : 1) the LED running lights go very dim 2) the passenger light will not work when the full headlights are on 3) no passenger brake lights when full lights are on I checked the current plug (flat 3 plus 1) and all 3 slots lit the tester up and the ground is connected. I read that multi-bulb vehicles need a small converter box to get the lights working. Heres the kicker, I removed the small panel at the back of the van and noticed that I already have a converter box feeding the current wiring but as I said.... not all lighting configurations work. Would appreciate any and all help. Tnx Meely

  15. Best way to "beat a speeding ticket".....is to never speed! But if you get one (or any ticket ....especially when demerit points are involved)....Fight it! File for disclosure and then take it from there. Nothing to lose......and maybe everything to gain......especially if you do not receive disclosure in a fair amount of time. Just my $.02 Meely
  16. Thanks for the info. I know there is Bell in my area as my neighbors are hooked up. I have installed a few dishes before and have no problems setting it all up. I was just hoping that I could re-route the current antenna-cable to the new dish I want to put up. As the antenna cable already runs through all the walls and directly to the living room, I was hoping to save some time "fishing" lines through walls etc. So by the sounds of it, I should be good to go? Thanks, Meely
  17. The previous owner of my house had a TV antenna (which he took with him) on the roof with a cable that led to the living room (the cable is still there). I would like to put up a sat dish. Does anyone know if I can use the old antenna cable/wire to carry the new Sat signal or do I have to run a new wire/cable specifically for satellite? Thanks! Meely

The great information on various topics, funny commentary and the passion in the host has made me watch almost every episode. I think they are well worth the watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyPDuE_dvHU&list=PLTYPv_2bX-iudNkjQ-ujjob1ZNim9wBYH Meely

  22. Just my 2 cents.... I would recommend fighting it.....you have nothing to lose. File for disclosure.....see what happens. I could recommend a great web-site but am not sure if I can post it here.......shoot me a PM if you like. Used the advice to fight a "disobey sign" HTA 149 (9) and won...... Don't plead guilty with an explanation....fight it! Meely
  23. If memory serves, you can make a left on a red light as long as it is from a one-way street to another one-way street. Correct? Meely
