  1. Saw this one on a late 70's Buick. You are my crumple zone!

No you can't use 80w90. this oil is made for open gear case. it will swell once you go over the operating temp for the oil.The lower unit is a closed gear case,sae90 has agents add to help prevent swelling from heat. Marine grade has agents in it for if the oil leaks out. It break down faster in water..
  3. You will only get 5 amps. The rectifier is set at 5 amp draw. which is the max the battery will draw.
  4. SlowPoke: The reason I need the right torque. Is to make it easy as possible for Joey To get the wheel off. Too funny that I spelt torque wrong, When I wright it down in the shop book a couple dozen times a week.
  5. Can't find what I need from the jiberish on Google. All my manuals are at work. The studs are 9/16" on aluminium rims. I know on 5/8" stud on aluminium is 110lbs and 65lbs on 1/2". Also know it's 450lbs 0n a 15/16"x28 studs. Can't even remember the last time I use 13/16".

  8. At no time should the impeller be ran dry.
  9. One of your major appliances have a higher then normal amperage draw. Could be you furnace also. With a good chance a loose ground at the box or the pole.. With the problem being in different sockets.
  10. For Diesel, It's called conditioner. It should not be use unless you know the fuel is going to sit stagnant for 60 day.It leaves deposits around the rings, making for a bad start.
  11. Parts Guys are going to cut them up and part them out.. More money to be made this way on older equipment.
