  1. Great solve on the problem,But not to keen on the way you bolted throw the plastic. You have taken away the flex points and made them hard point. You need to cover more area around the nuts. eg: If you drop it you could drive the unit threw the base. Large flat washer and a plastic flat washer for shock absorbent. Need to get the ny-loks threw farther.Once the cold gets to them, they will come loss.
  2. Bought one last year.Just used it ice fishing and it's a great little unit. The image is clear enough that I don't have to wear my glass to read it(far sighted) For being a coloured unit,I've yeaht to kill the battery in a single outing. Mounting it on the sled this year to take full advantage of the GPS
  3. Take the old one with you.First you will need metric with it being a Suk,and to get the right thread pitch.
  4. I would never put my flat under the frame of my truck. At the height my truck is at full jack too change a flat, It would bend the frame on impact. Use chokes,it's the safest way to jack when tires are involved.
  5. Freedom. You will get alot of looks when you call him.
  6. You have to sit down and really think about how big. Too small, good for nothing. Too big,Then the bench call be in it's own way. It's always nice if it's moveable. If you build a floor model. Always over hang on the top facing you. This helps to keep spills from getting in the drawers and shelves.
  7. Theirs a old saying.A stitch in time saves nine. In the mechanical trade,This is called Preventative Maintenance. And yes, keep fogging. It's only going too help.
  8. Race car drivers have nothing to prove. They do the speed limit. Full disrespect of the law and people around him. Enough Said.
  9. Joey and I have the hydrostatic pressure ones($300)This one will not miss fire from rain or splashing water. The firing mechanism must be completely submerged.
  10. Two questions. What does fogging actually do? What does stabilizer do against ethanol?
  11. You guys do "KNOW" this is not helping my case!
  12. If he's not making me work my boat to avoid him.Don't care. If he making me work the boat.I'd just move on. The law of the water is about avoidance. Not confrontation.
  13. Was thinking of shaving the head and putting on a expansion chamber on the old jiffy. Not for the speed. The sound that would come from that engine at 6-7 in the morning, My eye's are getting watery thinking about it.
  14. Rizz,The Jam.Please tell me it's not true.OH Jeez,You didn't listen to New Order also. :(
  15. Hay B.I had mine on when When I brought the Charger to a dead stop with the use of a ditch. Basically broke the car in half. But I didn't change the stitches in my belt.
  16. I read every thing you post Lew You should have to say it's a bass thread also.
  17. I look at it this way.If you are always going to act like a you will be excepted as a . And if you don't excepted a for what it's worth,What do you think was going to happen? I had two friends die with there seat belts on.It didn't madder.
  18. When I was young I got life insurance to protect myself against myself. Now it's to protect against others. And myself. THAT'S ODD.That's the same reason I use snow tires.
  19. Learn to drive a truck. First thing. If traffic is flowing smoothly,There shouldn't be the bumper on the car in front of you touching your's.It's a truck. Second. You must find the speeds your truck is comfortable at. Third. If you are using your brakes.you are driving your truck wrong.Let the tranny do it.
  20. The way you sit in a car make it more feasible for different size people to use the seat belt. In a school bus seat, all kids would have to have bolster seat for the correct fit. The seat belt law was mostly lobbied by insurance companies. The average life insurance pay out for death 250000,Top with another 40000 for accidental death. Then cost of repair and lawyer fee's and the list goes on. The cost of a injury victim.00000, we the tax payers pay it.
  21. Real sorry to hear that Doug.My condolences. Paul.
