Don't have a Sled but if I did, it'd be a Arctic Cat, either a 90's Jag 440, Bearcat (Wide Track), or a early-mid 00's (03 or 04) Pantera 550

NF Tire Guys - 225/65R16 Caravan rim = 225/55R16?
Lord Letto replied to Raycaster's topic in General Discussion
Yep, the 1st number is Width, in this case the tire is 225mm wide, the 2nd number is the profile of the sidewall as a % of the Width, 65 for the current ones would be a profile of 146.25mm from the inside edge (Where the Tire meets the Rim) to the outside edge (Tire Thread) while the "new" tires with the profile of 55 would be 123.75mm, the R Number is the Rim size in Inches, in this case it's 16 Inch Rims for both sets. Googled to make sure I'm correct: https://www.goodyearautoservice.com/en-US/tire-basics/tire-size -

or Maybe Cichlids in General. According to Wikipedia, Angelfish, Oscar, Convict cichlid & Discus fish are the Most Popular Species for Aquariums. They're from South/Central America though with 2/4 of those being Native to the Amazon Basin (Amazon River & Tributaries) , Not Africa, I'm Not sure what Popular African Species would be.

How about Keeping some Live Minnows in a Aquarium? Not Game fish so should be OK I Think? If you do want a Bass, What would Rock Bass Be Considered as?

French River Trip...scary start, wet week, decent fishing
Lord Letto replied to bigcreekdad's topic in General Discussion
When I went up to the North Channel the 1st Week of July with Family, I Managed to get the only Walleye of the Trip, Measured at about 17", Was the 1st Fish Caught in Boat of the Trip. One Day when we got back from a Trip in Boat there was someone that had like Half a Dozen on a Stringer apparently, We were told to use White & Blue Colors to Catch them. -
Thinking of buying a fishing lodge....need help!
Lord Letto replied to birddogman99's topic in General Discussion
I've Only Gone With Family & Never Organized the Trip, But Here's My Experience & Thoughts: 1: The Places we went to, We Had to get our own Grocerys & Cook our Meals, No Roomservice or Restaurant, If I Were to have a Lodge, I'd Likely have a Small Restaurant as part of it if people decide not to cook, but if people wanted to Cook their own meals in their Cabins, they could. 2: Both Places were Drive in for my Family, For us that's the Best option, but if Drive in Wasn't a Option, then I'd say boat in, Maybe offer a Pick up Service or maybe have the Boat the Person/Group would be Renting available at a nearby Marina they can Drive to so They can Load it up & go to the Lodge, Unless they Own a Boat so they won't need to rent one, Just Launch & Go. 3: Both Places had 14 & 16' Aluminum Boats, 1 place had the Option of 9.9HP & 20HP Engines (Had to Pay Extra if you wanted the 20HP), the other only had 15HP Engines, All Had Electric Start & the 1 place with 2 engine options only had bench seats & nothing Really Extra on the Boat, the place with 15HP Only had like 4 Plastic Unpadded Folding Swivel Seats Mounted to the Benches & there was a Electric Bilge Pump on the Boat. Those are OK I Think but if Bigger Boats With more Options were Available for a Extra Cost, Then I Think that would be a Good Idea Also, Have some options for People to Chose From Based on their Budget. 4: Never Used a Guide & I Don't think there was a Option at the Lodge/Camp to get one, at least not Mentioned on the Site, But if it's a Option for a Fair Price, Some People may like that, More so if it's a Area they're nor Familiar with. 5: If we had a Good Experience We'd Likely go Back For Sure, Providing we have good Contact with them to Rebook the Following Year, If We Don't get any Reply back from them when the time comes then we'll likely try elsewhere. -
I Know It's Not a Chocobo, Other than that, I Have No Idea.

Happy Bass Opener to People that Got Out Yesterday. With the Local Rivers the Way they Are there was No Fishing for me.
-
Well, My Uncle Wanted to Go Fishing Yesterday to Try the New Rod He got the Day Before (a Hurricane Mako Isurus), But Nope, Too Much Water to Fish with the Conostogo River Being Flooded from all the Rain We Had the Past Week & Apparently the Nith Near New Hamburg where we went 2 Weeks ago was (Apparently, Never Seen it Myself) Flooded also. They are saying it'll take about a week to Recede & Go Back to Normal, So No Fishing Down Here For Now, Next time Fishing so My Uncle can try his new Rod & My Brother to Try his New Real (Xcalibur K50) will be when we go to the French River North Channel July 1st-8th.

No Idea, But I'd say Blood knot, That's what the Guide that came with my CMF Walleye Says to use for Attaching a Leader.

Gratz! On the Topic of Bass Tournaments, Anyone planning on doing the Grand River Bass Derby? http://www.grandriverbassderby.ca/ I'd be interested in doing it as my 1st Tourney, But I'll be up at the French River when Reg Ends, so maybe Next Year.

Anyone having luck, if you can get out with the Weather that is? 1 more Week for me here in Zone 16.

Only Lodge I've been to was Loons Landing up on the French River, They have a 1 Bedroom Cottage for 2 People at a cost of $125/Day, $565/Week Including Dock Space & Launching Fee or $860/Week with a Boat (14 or 16' Aluminum) & 9.9 hp Engine, if just going for a day a single Day Boat & Engine Rental would be $65 with a 9.9hp Engine or $75 for the 20hp Engine, a Half Day Boat Rental would be $20 less, You'd also have to Buy Gas for the Engine. 10% Spring/Fall & Seniors Discount on Weekly Bookings: http://loonslanding.ca/pricing.shtml On Canada Day I'll be going to Rainbow Camp for a Week with Family, a 1 Bedroom 2 Person Cottage there is $116 a Day or $580 for a Week, a 1 Day Boat (14' or 16') & 15hp Engine Rental is $80 or $350 for a Week, you'd need to Buy Gas & Oil for it also, 20% discount on Cottages and Boats before June 25 and after Labor Day. (Weekly rates only): http://www.rainbowcamp.com/rates.html

Thanks & Welcome to OFC. I Live in FMZ 16 so Bass Opener isn't until the 4th Saturday in June (June 24th) So I Have to Wait another Week while in other Zones the Opener is the 3rd Saturday so this coming Saturday (The 17th). As For Panfish Fishing, I'll Have to Give Jigs with Minnows on a Bobber a Try Next time I Go, I Have 2 1/8 oz Jigs & Some Powerbait 3" Grubs & Minnows that Came with my Rod.

Well Today was a day of 2 Firsts for me, Caught my 1st Smallmouth (I'm sure it Wasn't a Rock) & 1st Crappie (Both Got Released, Never took a Pic of the Smallie as I Wanted to Focus on getting it back in the Water ASAP due to it being OOS), instead of going to the Conostogo River, We went to the Nith River at the Holland Mills Rd/Township Rd 13 Bridge. Here's a pic of a Small Fish my Youngest Niece Caught, when I 1st saw it I thought it was a Minnow of some kind due to the Size but afterwords looking at the Picture, I think it's a Young Smallie?: & Here's 2 Pics my Sister in Law took of me With my Crappie, My Youngest Niece Photobombed one of them:
