  1. 8lbs! That's awesome! I caught lots of 1-2lb fish but that was it. The electric was struggling the whole time (excuses) Last time I was there the Turkey lake rentals were only on Thursday to Sunday and need to be booked in advance
  2. I'm in Orlando from April 15-29
  3. I had a 2001 Toyota sienna and loved it. My sister has it now pushing 400k and it's never had any major problems. I have a 2009 now with 200k and again no problem other than reg maintance of tires, oil and breaks. Both vehicles were bought 3year old American off lease. I found that to be the best value around. I've driven the new Chrysler and it's very nice but I'd worry about the money id put into it down the road. Hondas a great but top price in the class range. My next vs will be another Sienna
  4. Wow! Great camera work and editing! Fishing shows have really stepped it up. Maybe it's time to get a FWN subscription
  5. I'm going to put a few heaters and a dehumidifier in the room and open the window for the day
  6. Thanks for all the replies. As for the varethane, I'm not a fan of the glossy look on wood. I opted not to keep the wood looking raw.
  7. Oil base I think. Mini wax brand stain and conditioner
  8. I built my 2 year old a bunk bed play house out of pine and used a wood conditioner and stain. It's been a week and the smell is still pretty strong. Is it safe for my boy to sleep in his bed with the odour?
  9. Feel for you man! That's a shocker of a bill
  10. Those fish look well fed up there.
  11. With the current forecast. I wouldn't be out there on Sat in my boat. 30-40km winds
  12. I have a 500 sportsman that I use to plow the 30 spot parking lot for my business. I chose Polaris because the 07 year was the heaviest in its range and weight plays a big factor pushing snow. I pared it with a 50" Warn plow and a synthetic rope in the winch ( wire breaks ) and mud lite tires on low air pressure. I've had a few repares with the sportsman, one being very costly. I'm happy with it but if I could turn back the clock I'd get a Honda. At the end of the day my sportsman has done the job in a commercial setting, plowed and towed trees in the ice storm and started first time every time even in last years -30+ weather
  13. What a fatty!! Congrats man!!
  14. Yep, it's a popular tactic down there for big bass
  15. Impressive as always. Great report!
  16. Love the Rideau!. Great vid. Looks serene
  17. Parkside cabins in Mitchelles Bay is a great place to stay if your sharing a room with a few guys and it's attached to a good diner. Holiday in in Chatham has lots of parking space if your trailering a boat and is a nice clean 3 1/2 star. The Petite Dragon is cheap with good location, food walking distance away. Quality Suites downtown windsor is a great spot but you have to arrange docking at a marina and parking for your trailer at the marina
  18. Google satellite is a great way to scout spots. Golf courses, hotels and condos aren't welcoming but there is lots of lakes. I'd recommend hitting the gun range too. Lots of fun!
  19. Hit the bass pro in Orlando and get a 3-7 day licence. Turkey lake has a a really cheap boat rental. You get a flat tinny with an electric motor. The fishing is ok but again really cheap.
  20. Snap traps are great to deal with your current problem but bait and kill stations are the only way to go for the long run. You can buy pet/kid safe ones at HD
  21. Don't forget to instal a marine breaker switch between your batterie and your trolling motor.
  22. I had a 55 on my 16' bass boat on a 12v system and would kill a batterie on a two day trip. I have 75lbs now on at 24v and love the extra power and never need to worry about running out of battery power.
  23. I've been towing my 90ph around without a transom saver for 7 years with no problem but I always learn the hard way. I'm going to check my bolts before the next trip
