  1. Will this be the only session? Limited to 60 people, in Peterborugh and at 5:30 on a school day will make it mear impossible for a lot of folks to attend. Not to mention it's in the middle of 5 day moose season. Maybe a weekend session possibly?
  2. Thanks Craig, needed a laugh. Poor lion, can't wear a hat to hide that hair line.
  3. Love opening this thread and seeing posts with "Great news" Thumbs up!
  4. Challenge it my friend. Same basic knowledge you used 20 yrs ago. Study up a lil though.
  5. Yes, they are 100% Canadian unlike sportsmansguide.ca
  6. Well said Wayne. When the cards are down and money, assets, or status have absolutely no value anymore, what matters most are the folks holding your hand.
  7. For those going to try them out please post how you do. I've used them for pike in the spring and was impressed, but not for bass as of yet.
  8. Awesome Mike, you are a lucky dood! Love the transducer stick! Hey if it's full length, I'd like to buy it!!
  9. Cool Dan. So used it as a search bait. Did you find they cooled off the rig or did you switch to the drop shot once you got bit?
  10. Anybody give the Rig a shot this fall yet? I was thinking this may be a good time of year to give it a go when the bass turn to baitfish and school up. It will be a couple weeks til I get out to give it a go. Haven't heard to much going on with it.
  11. great read, close family you have Wayne. Your A lucky dude.
  12. Right on, both of you. Killer walleye and bass bite after turnover in the Kawarthas. Find these two things and you are golden. Current and/or Hard Bottom.
  13. Largies - 3/4 or 1oz flipping jig with a large trailer. Deep weeds, secondary ledges, and arrowheads . Smallies - deep jerkbaits, jiggins spoons and 1oz football/mushroom head plastics. Almost Simcoe prime time.
  14. It's a fine line eh Dave. Just curious is all. Love the list myself.
  15. Are you removing all that are made in China?
  16. Interesting. I wonder if their angling regs for the fall spawn have anything to do with it.
  17. Love it B. God love the Newfs! Ontario would never have been discovered if one of them had not gotten a break away on the St Lawrence.
  18. Some say you attract the company you keep.
  19. Let's hook up for lunch Wyane. Love to see you, but especially Leah. Let's do the regular spot with the regular crew. Heck, invite the pumpkin carver too.
  20. Month or so and my long rods come back out, then go back in Feb. I sense the frustration Kemper, like sitting at black jack table when the ancho hits on 12 with a dealer six showing. Stay and deal with it or move on.
  21. Lefties should be soon, i'll know more tomorrow. Have some righties left.
  22. Cabelas are actually made by okuma. Check out the new Okuma Coldwater trolling reels. The "ole" round style (tekota, convectors, abus) reels are good, however the new drop down gear case allows a bigger drag in a smaller frame. Alot of trollers up the size of their round reels to get the bigger drag.
  23. Looks like your "stuck" there for a bit longer... gosh darn it huh.
  24. eTackle.ca is the Canadian distributor for these rods. Our last order of TI rods sold out. We have a couple Jerkbait rods left and will possibly be putting in another order this fall. When we know for sure we'll post in the Announcements section and offer our regular OFC discounts!! Will will offer pre-order special pricing. Okuma's are a solid rod as well.
  25. Wool, fingerless gloves. then Wool Mitts.
