Best of luck to your wife, my wife also went thru some serious stuff a year ago and everything turned out well and hopefully it'll be the same for yours.
Thanks Wayne, changing the switches is no problem I just didn't know if it would work with both a dimmer and a standard switch. Gives me a job to do tomorrow.
As for Diane, she keeps the broom stick handy even when I'm not doing electrical.
Thanks Kenny
Just so I'm clear, I can leave the 3 way switch we never use as is and just install the mechanical 3 way dimmer where I want it and everything should work fine.
I'll be able to turn the lights off and on with the dimmer switch plus dim them down.
Hey guys, I've got 3 LED pot lights in the kitchen ceiling with a 3 way switch at either end of the room so I can turn them on & off from either side.
I'd like to install a 3 way dimmer switch at the end of the room we always use and wonder if that's possible. The switch at the other end just leads to another room and is never used.
I don't know which switch is 1st in line though and I'd imagine that makes a difference.
$340 sounds like a good price for that Dan, course it'd probably cost a bunch more when converted to Canadian funds.
Still be good for anyone who has trouble backing a truck up to a hitch though.
Then we'll run over to 3 Mile Lake and see if we can find all the fishing tackle that was lost when me, my bro and my dad flipped a boat 45 years ago
.
A few of the homes on my road are using these steel critter proof garbage bins now. Very expensive at around $600 and up but they sure keep the animals out. I've seen them rolled over several times by bears trying to get in and not even a mark on them.

A long time friend of mine who's been dead now for many years was in his garage one night with 3 buds. They were all drunk and looking for more booze. They found a gallon bottle on a shelf marked alcohol and they drank it.
My friend woke up hours later totally blind and his 3 friends were dead.
Turned out it was wood alcohol (methanol)
My friend never regained his sight but he was the lucky one.
Some great stories here guys and love the old truck Wayne, don't remember those myself.
Wish I could find my 1st ride but I spose it's gone to that big scooter place in the sky
And Phil, you've got a great memory
Great story Steve, here's another one
About 25 years ago I was doing some work at my folks house and dug up this little fire truck. It was a favorite toy of mine that I played with when I was a little kid about 35 years earlier and had been lost. I cleaned it up and painted it and it now looks as good as new.
I took Harpers words exactly the same way Craig Ritchie did and never saw anything wrong with what he said.
He simply stated that no refugees or anyone else would receive anymore that any other Canadians do.
Seemed like just a normal thing to say as far as I understood.
I took down a 15' spruce in the back yard this morning and while cutting the trunk out below ground level I came across this knife buried about 6" below the surface.
Both the guard and cap on the butt of the handle appear to be made from brass.
No idea on age but my property was cleared from the woods 13 years ago so I'll guess that's when it was lost.
Anyways, I'm gonna clean it up and probably hang it in the garage along with a bunch of other worthless stuff I call collectibles
