Lotsa great cars there Brian, thanks for posting them. There's a classic car show over in Bridgenorth every Monday evening that I go to some times.
That '58 Impala has always been one of my favorite cars and if I ever find myself with an extra100 grand I don't need I may just get me one LOL
When I was a kid in the 50's in Toronto my grandmother lived just north of Christie Pitts and just around the corner from her on Christie Street there was a dairy that had a milk truck just like the one in your video. Don't know of any other dairy that had one and wonder if it's maybe the same truck.
Pretty kool rig anyhow.
We had heavy rain with lightening & thunder from around 2:30 till 3:30 but it's cleared out now and even seeing a bit of sunshine.
Right at the height of the very heavy rain a boat was running down Clear Lake, sure hope his bilge pumps were working
You've got that right Shaun, this big girl came from Katchawanooka which is one of the smallest lakes in the Kawarthas.
And I don't even fish for bass.
Interesting you say that Norm, many years ago I used to fish bass in the Otonabee south of the 115 and would toss white spinnerbaits into the waves made by passing boats as they broke along the shoreline and always did well.
The place is really coming along beautifully Dave and thanks for the constant updates with pictures, it's always very interesting to follow the progress on a job like this.
I needed a power handle for a Calcutta TE and it was cheaper to order it from Shimano & have it shipped from their outlet in California than it was to order from Gagnons in Oshawa and have it shipped 75 miles north to my place.
Sometimes it's cheaper to order from a long ways away rather than local.
I had no clue how to post pictures either Brian and used to take my prints to some joint in Toronto called ...I think...computer cafe or something like that. They'd scan them and email them to Cory who in turn posted them on the board for me.
My computer skills still haven't improved much since those days but at least now I can post the odd picture
I'd never touched a computer in my life until 2002 and knew absolutely nothing about them, infact I had little interest in them.
My wife had one though and I decided maybe I should see what it was all about. She showed me the basics and said I could probably find some stuff about fishing. I started putzing around and came across the "the real fishing" website and started following links.....although back then I had no idea what a link was.
Eventually it led me to the OFC site and it seemed kinda interesting so I started reading it and decided this computer stuff was pretty good.
Been hanging around ever since.
And howcum everytime I type OF..."ENN"...it comes up as OFC ??
My bud got an air horn and blasted the geese everytime they came near his property, plus he put a bunch of those 12" windmills around and it seems to be working and he hasn't seen a goose in days now.
