A very good friend of mine was killed on 35 just south of Lindsay about 30 years ago. He was heading north at midnight going to his cottage at Dunsford when a car came around the bend on the wrong side of the road and hit him head on. My friend was decapitated and the other car rolled into the ditch, exploded and killed the 4 occupants in that car. Police estimated the other car was doing 80 MPH when they hit and autopsies showed they were all hammered after sitting in a local pup all day & evening.

You've got that right Bill, no matter what they do somebody is gonna say their in the wrong. It's a tough job and coppers have my full respect for what they do.

If cops chase the speeders and crap happens, the cops are at fault. If they don't chase them and they get away, folks say they aren't doing their job.

The last couple days I've been going waaaay back to the early pages of this board in 2006. Seems to me this is the 3rd reincarnation of OFC since I joined up in 2002. Hard to believe how many of the old members have moved on and I've been reading posts from guys I haven't thought of in years. We've also sadly had a few of our members pass away, including my brother who posted as eddyk, and it's sure strange to read their posts from days gone by. Lots of great reading from back then. ***** Edit to add I originally typed OF ENN but it keeps changing to OFC
