My property backs onto woods that are loaded with deer in the winter, but as I said above bucks aren't too common although they do show up once in awhile. Here's a picture of another one antlered buck from last winter with a few ladies around him although I don't know if it's his "harem" or not. Here's another one in my yard, but this guy looks like he's laying down the law to anyone who'll listen to him.

Interesting Doug and it could very well be true. I always thought a buck looked after a group of females and younguns, but who knows ??

There were 9 does in the yard earlier today so I spose this ole boy is leader of their pack.

Not a good picture as he's quite aways away, but I just had this nice one antlered buck in the backyard. Get lots of does around here but bucks are pretty rare so it's always good when they stop by to say hi.

I think I remember that picture from last year Bill, that girl is a beast for sure.

Never owned one but have driven the Honda vans a few times and must admit, their pretty darned nice. My daughter is on her 3rd Honda Civic and it's a very solid and well built car and I'd guess the van would be as good.

Morning boyz I've got a 52" Samsung TV in the den that I'm moving to the family room and am replacing it with a 60" Samsung Smart TV. I haven't opened the box yet but looking at it this morning it says only one cable required for both audio & visual but it's not included so I have to go buy one. I've heard before that the very expensive HDMI cables aren't required and a cheapy will do but I want to know from you TV experts what to buy. If it takes the expensive one that's not a problem but I don't want to waste un-needed money. I have to leave here at 7:45 this morning to head down to Peterboro so I can get whatever I need while I'm there without having to make another trip. If it makes a difference, the new TV is a 60" Samsung Smart with 240Hz and will be running off a Bell satellite box. I've got 4 other Samsungs and they all run off multible cables. Thanks for any advice you have.

Thanks for the update bud, appreciate it. 99% of the time I don't worry about weather but long drives on icy roads can definitely be a nuisance.

Temps were sposed to rise to +5 here over night but it didn't happen & it's still below freezing and now their saying it's only going to +1 later today. Still got freezing rain coming down and there's a 1/4" of ice covering everything. Cold temps coming tonight and staying for awhile so I guess the ice coating will be here for awhile too. I've got about 250 miles to drive today so I sure hope the salt trucks have been working on the roads.

Watching those Trackers take off & land on Bonnies flight deck was something I never tired of. Very repetitious but the skill of those Air Wing pilots landing those planes on the small deck in rough seas was just unbelievable.

I spent alot of time working alongside the Bonnie Bruce.

Been snowing here in the Kawarthas for a few hours but we've only got an inch or 2 then sposed to go above freezing tonight and turn to rain. I have to leave here tomorrow morning at 8:30 to drive to Brampton so hopefully there's not too much of a mess.
